Looking up production dates of some of my hoarded lotions. One bottle was only 2 years old... but then apparently the lot codes get reused after 10.... and they stopped selling the lotion in a particular format some time ago... So at least 12 year old lotion? eeep!

For the longest time, I've kept a safety deposit box at Scotiabank to store an extra offsite copy of my computer backup. But the price jumped $50 to $200/yr! wth? I guess thanks for the kick in the butt to cancel that box.

A woman accidentally used my email address instead of hers for a site. I finally got fed up with the notifications that I reset the password, got into the account, and changed the account email to her actual email. (I know it because she forwarded me her resume by accident. lol)

Earlier this year, the company I worked for, for over 20 years decided to partner with xitter. They also wanted us in 60% of the time, despite me not having anything to do with the Canadian market/office. So I gave up and fucked right along. I didn't want to be one of the bad guys. lol

Today was my last day and it's no coincidence that it's also the day they started enforcing the 60% RTO. I figured the change in RTO was all about getting people to leave β€” especially considering they've already let go around 2000 people or so. So off I went.

I don't now how to explain it, but landing in Tokyo, the energy felt like I wasn't really welcome. Quite strange. That said, I really liked the cheap snacks at Muji. I totally should've gotten more of the sakura flavoured stuff and wouldn't mind going back for shopping. lol

Decided to just order a bunch of things through amazon jp instead of going around to buy the stuff. Learned the phrase "amazon uketori desu", so I can get it from the famimia nearby. I was like, "oh, I can remember uke from uke/seme, and tori... as someone I once knew." 😬

wtf? They're sourcing ideas and there's a suggestion to convert PTO to donations after max accrual. We don't use that accrual method in our Canadian office, so I'm confused: why aren't people just taking time off?

Heard rumours that layoffs were abound back in the fall. So I asked my boss if he could package me out, too. He tossed it up the ladder, but I haven't heard anything. They eventually let go over a thousand employees, and they couldn't add just _one_ more. rude.

I need travel videos for the lazy traveler. Carry luggage down stairs? forget that. What are the best car services that will pick me and my luggage from one venue to another, tyvm. lol Best food type half an hr away? nah. Give me something almost as good near my hotel. LoL
