Bryce Hanson | Dallas Cubing!

Dallas Cube Classic 2026 was a runaway success in my books! 10 pods to start the weekend, and so much awesome, friendly magic. And congratulations to our champion, Turner! Special thank you to @goblingathering.bsky.social for head judging and helping me through my first event. Until next time 🫶

[13/14] Today's #mtgcube is High Standards, a 2017-era standard format cube that breaks singleton extensively to promote cohesive, nostalgic decks

[12/14] Today's #mtgcube is A Cube of Many Faces, a changeling-powered typal cube! All players start with a universal automaton and a changeling wayfinder in their pool to get them started.

[11/14] Today's P1P1 is from The Kube, a medium power #mtgcube with some off-beat card choices

[9/14] Today's #MTGCube is a cool one: The Dallas Cube! This cube was co-designed by 10 members of the DFW cubemunity. This was a really fascinating process, and I would do it VERY differently next time based on what I've learned lol. The Dallas Cube will be given to the winner of DCC26.

[8/14] Today's P1P1 is from my own #MTGCube, Dramatically Discarded! This is a color-imbalanced cube focused in grixis colors and discard-related mechanics.

[7/14] halfway through showing off our #mtgcube selection (we also sold out 2 more pods to the event so even more play time). Today, we have the Red Dirt Cube!

[6/14] A well-loved, CubeCon-appearing #mtgcube, today's P1P1 comes to us as Tempo Cube!

[5/14] Today's #mtgcube is a pretty unique one! This is @hipsterhornet.bsky.social's Magna Terra. It's a desert cube where you start with 2 of each basic in front of you. You can use them as Cogwork Librarians, swapping them for additional picks. Or, you can just keep them for your deck.

[4/14] Today's #mtgcube is my own! This is Leniently Legacy, my no-UB, low-commanderslop legacy+ cube. No power, but you can play with academy as a treat.

[3/14] today's #mtgcube comes from @goblingathering.bsky.social! This is The Museum of Modern. It's a pick 2 format designed to emulate the golden era of modern.

[2/14] Today's P1P1 is from Wallythopters, a fork of 100-O with a few twists!

[1/14] Now that the #mtgcube for Dallas Cube Classic have been selected, it's time to start P1P1s! We have 14 awesome cubes and just over a month to showcase them. First up: @aquaone.bsky.social vintage! Many of you are familiar with this gorgeous tribute to the game and format.

The playmat and tokens for my #mtgcube event are ready! I'm particularly excited for the Texas BBQ food token. The set of 8 tokens also double as seating assignment and pairing cards! If you want some for yourself, I've got a pre-order link below :)

I want to make sure everyone from Dallas Cube Classic leaves with a little gift. I'll be revealing more goodies over time (tokens, pack toppers, and more!), but we'll start here: all attendees will receive 1 die with the event logo on it! Extras will also be available for purchase :) #mtgcube
