I just found out my sister and the kids are all sick and can't come over to celebrate my birthday today. Somebody is going to have to eat six cupcakes. I asked for volunteers, but my dogs don't speak English and nobody else is here. I guess it's all up to me now. Wish me luck!

Fredrick Pohl's The Age of The Pussyfoot. 1960s sci-fi about a man who is frozen and wakes in a future where everyone relies on a handheld computer that acts as a personal assistant and communication device and also dispenses aerosol drugs. I'm sorting and posting books to sell and I discovered a misprint in an Arkham House book from 1963. There's no copyright. In the digital age we live in an edited world. There's something about seeing a human error from decades ago that makes me happy. #booksky
