Bill Wennington said he didn't want to call anybody out after Sam Hauser got an offensive rebound and kicked it out to Pritchard for yet another 3. He should call somebody out! It was Matas who didn't put a proper body on Hauser, and Matas' performance so far this season has been very iffy.

Early in Game 1 lol an absolutely elite team also living the most charmed existence imaginable and this is what you get

Congrats to the Brewers for their World Series win no way this team is losing

This is my music! Bulls have certainly shot awful so far from deep and are due for some better variance there soon to make the offense look a bit better.

This chart shows each NBA teams offensive 3pt% (blue dot) and defensive 3p% (orange dot) this season. The purple shading shows the range that every NBA team fell into last season. Teams at the top have had the most 3pt luck this season while teams at the bottom have been the most unlucky.

Ty Jerome was BLAZING HOT in tonight's win over the Kings 🔥 🔹 31 points 🔹 4 rebounds 🔹 6 assists 🔹 8-of-17 FG 🔹 14-of-14 FT He leads the league in PPG.

Caruso now a +51 in 67 minutes off the bench this season. I dunno if Thunder have the depth to withstand that awful J-Dub injury as well this time around, but Caruso remains a 1-man wrecking crew off the bench and will do his damndest to help keep them rolling.

Jason Patt@bullsjay.bsky.social

Alex Caruso is a +33 off the bench in 2 games against the Spurs and Nuggets classic

Zach LaVine with 37 points and 5 assists on 13/25 shooting in 40 minutes….-21 in an 11-point loss.

Jason Patt@bullsjay.bsky.social

Zach LaVine with an efficient 28 points and a -16 is basically his entire NBA existence

yeah clearly their defense/ST is extremely good but holy cow does their offense suck and the breaks they've gotten all over to get them to 6-0 (likely) is wild and very annoying.

chris_fumo96@chrisfumo.bsky.social

the defense and special teams are ranked number 1 by analytical models so it's not as if a good portion of the team isn't really good. I do agree they are a much worse team than the Bears.

Remember when we traded Orton and picks for Cutler, and Orton led the Broncos to a 6-0 start? I’ll be real: that was a stressful six weeks.

Jason Patt@bullsjay.bsky.social

The Vikings being on the verge of 6-0 is a crime against humanity how many breaks is this mediocre ass team going to catch

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills reading some of this Arch Manning hype after last night...he nearly blew the game and Sark pretty much stopped letting him throw in the 4th quarter after his second pick. What are we doing here?!

This all occurred in a five-minute stretch near the end of the 2nd quarter tonight. Caleb Wilson is must watch TV. Bulls fans really have a star worth rooting for. #NBASky #SkyHoops

Have to give credit to Splitter for benching Giddey for Jones. Jones finishes a +22 and is…maybe the best backup PG in the NBA? Matas’ start is pretty troubling tho.

If Giddey is actually too hurt to be effective, he just needs to take some time off to heal or if he needs surgery maybe it just has to happen? Bulls have just gotten crushed in his minutes (-54 now) and Tre has been very good.

Fun-Bad is more fun when you win. Props to Splitter for making the right lineup decisions down the stretch. Caleb Wilson was a monster in the second half, great Leonard Miller game, and an encouraging night for Essengue. The team showed some fight.

Matas and Giddey both benched in crunch time during one of the few winnable games on the Bulls’ early season schedule. Rough start to the season for both of them, and that’s an understatement. I do think Tre Jones / Leonard Miller give the Bulls a better chance to win right now.
