Vs. people saying I'm just delusional or paranoid, I need to try to answer two questions with video. Problem isn't finding what I need but finding what I need to find. 1. What makes the actions of the Trump regime quasi-dictatorial? 2. What is the NAR and why is it bad that they have his ear?

The basic hypothesis is that there's more to the underlying situation from which the No Kings protests arose than just "orange man bad", that there's several forces at work here, each using the others in pursuit of world conquest, and they all need to be broken down and explained. Yikes on trikes.

Orange Man, put up or shut up. If you or your goon squad think someone's done stuff, prove it in court. Everyone else: This goes the other way. If the regime won't take it to court, that suggests they don't actually believe what they're saying, they just want YOU to believe it.

Nobody earns 12 figures. We don't allow a person with Prader-Willi to eat oneself into the size of a minicomputer; neither should we allow a sociopath to accrue that level of obscene wealth. At some point we need confiscatory marginal taxes which should be strictly to fund the social safety net.

#nokings Niagara Falls NEVER gets protests, but we did. Last I checked there was only one other video from here and it wasn't even 1 minute long.

Long story about the channel (let's just say I attracted a bunch of Reformed Baptists years ago and that became the foundation of my viewership, so I had to go mostly back in the wardrobe for a lot of my videos). Anywho, the magats are ratioing my montage. 🤢 www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyMX...

A thought: I know that the likes of ChatGPT, Dall-E, Stable Diffusion and Flux Schnell are effectively plagiarism bots, and don't use them to generate content. Assuming the model's trainer is on the up-and-up, would using a musical voice synth based on the same type of technology be problematic?

The fact I'm a nobody will hopefully shield me from getting the treatment Natalie Maines got when she called out the US government like 20-odd years ago. What must be said must be said.

America needs a harsh dose of reality. The world needs to collectively say "Y'all are motherfuckers. The few of you who aren't are not worth dealing with the ultramajority who are." You cannot solve a radioactive dumpster fire by denying its existence for 50+ years.

This is the only variety of IRN-BRU I've ever been able to find near me, and exactly one store in my city carries it. On the plus side, despite having a blend of sugar and fake sweeteners, I have compared the taste to some all-sugar "IRN-BRU 1901" purchased in Scotland. It tastes exactly the same.

Everyone knew that Orange Asterisk was planning an autogolpe if he got into office. So when people say "I voted Trump because he promised me cheaper groceries and gas, but I wasn't expecting him to go fascist—y'all got scorp'd. You're the frog carrying the scorpion of Orange Asterisk on your back.

I almost wonder if MAGAt insistance that Abrego García is MS13 could be actionable as slander. Not that there'd be anyone to action it, since he's prolly no longer on this earth.

I had someone say I was mental for proposing this but I said Orange Asterisk wanted to isolate America for its own sake, because isolation is just what narcissistic abusers do.

An autocrat will often say "I represent the will of the people", but he means "my will is their will", not "their will is my will."

So I'm trying to prepare some clips for a jebusvid, and looking for freely usable art of Jesus teaching children because I can't make it myself and don't want to resort to fake art *COUGH*"AI"*CHOKE*. Yesterday I needed one of him knocking on a door. I did it myself by tracing a selfie...

There is a mindset - and I was raised in it - that anyone who can't hack it in the real world should just drop the meatbag and stop wasting everyone else's oxygen. But these same types are often the _reason_ many of us are unable to get by in the real world.

I can't vote in primaries because I don't want to be part of a political party (because of expectations I should be a lizard-brain tribalist). I think AOC and Letitia James should both consider primarying our current senators who both took the jellyfish option since they actually have spines.

Some of us have been saying this since 2020 and even before: Dems should make corruption *the* central issue in US politics and public life and go on the offensive against GOP/MAGA/Trump transparent and hypocritical corruption and grifting. Most voters hate corruption.

Maybe it's time for the civilized world to curse Trump with exactly what he wants: an isolated America with no interaction with the rest of the world.

Rolls: bakery department. Hot dogs: Wardynski (local brand). Chili sauce: Pellicano (local brand). Cheese: store-brand "Tri-State Blend" (WI/NY/VT).

This was part of an attempt to intentionally buy local. I doubt they make these here, but the company is based here and it's very much a local thing.

I think they make this just down the street from here. I don't buy it often because $5.49 for 4 bottles isn't cheap, when I can buy a 2 liter pop for $1.50, but it was a way to support local.

I was talking to a couple people, one on IRC and one on Discord, and I suggested that maybe a good thing for Canada to do would be to simply close the border to anything or anyone coming from the United States until we manage to get MAGA out of power. Bring the boycott to an official federal level.

The first thing Democrats need to do IF they ever manage to wrest power from the MAGA contingent is to propose some new amendments to restrain SCOTUS, hamstring the President, and strengthen the 14th Amendment. Also, the Alphabet Soup needs to be made freestanding to limit presidential interference.

Both the major supermarket chains here in Niagara Falls, NY get their eggs from a family farm in Clarence. I was to Tops earlier to buy some pop, and I checked the price of a dozen large white eggs while I was there. $5.99/doz, on sale for $5.19. Worst I've seen but not as bad as elsewhere...yet.

Welp. I've had success using a program called "rhubarb" to generate lip position data from audio, then piping it through a C program and a Korn shell script to make a script for Avisynth. Now I'm considering combining it with (non-AI) text-to-speech for creating an "atashi".

Weird idea... Let's say I have 3 PNGs representing an avatar with mouth closed, half-open and open (this is roughly what you're going to see in actual animation), and I want to take an audio file into my Linux or Windows box and create a video track to go with it...is there a tool for that?

Hm. Just had a further thought. Maybe I could write something in C to take a .WAV or .PCM file and turn it into a list of frames and lengths in 30ths of a second. Then I could trivially translate that. (e.g., "0 30" = closed, 1 second; "1 45" = half-open, 1.5 second, "2 15" = open, 0.5 second).

Rough sketch (low quality, but no computer used until I took the picture). "Prometheus: for his 'crime' of stealing fire from the gods was chained to a pillar in hell and has his heart eaten by vultures daily"

I've been thinking of trying to hire real artists to do 100% "AI"-free drawings to replace the "AI"-assisted originals, where I wrote a detailed description then took the renders, traced and completely repainted them, the artistic nature of which is still at best arguable as "AI" "art" is neither. »

« I, admittedly, use these technologies as a crutch. I'm fully aware of the ethical issues, which is why I limit the computer-generated elements as far as I can and add as much of my _own_ talent (what there is, since I'm terrible at drawing) as I can in their place. Frankly it's still insufficient.
