Have made the lousy, but necessary decision to halt any travel to the US while this government is in place destroying everything in its path. I'll find other places to visit, starting with Jamaica instead of Florida at March Break. The United States no longer deserves my hard earned money. #trump

I have mentally written off #Matthews for the next 2 weeks. Watched another replay of the abuse he took last night and I'm not shocked the #leafs are sitting him. No offense to the #4Nations, but screw that, we need him more than you do.

My mind is still blown over knowing what's coming in Canada. The anger in the country is clear as day, and I fear the Liberals are going to get reduced to rubble in the next election. It's coming, and it's going to be bad. #cdnpoli

1/ I want to tell a little story about Canadian #healthcare to my American friends. In fall/winter into 2018, I went through a really lousy bout with vertigo. I went to the doctor, then to an ENT. The ENT ran tons of tests on me, but found no answers. (cont)

4) I immediately started followups with Sunnybrook's Odette Centre, being seen by a radiation oncologist to keep an eye on me. They did MRIs first every 3 months, then after 2 years, every 6 months, and now, after over 5 years, only one MRI per year is needed. (cont)

5) Since the surgery, I have had no major issues and needless to say, haven't had any meningioma come back to life inside my head. I managed to completely resume life and want to add an important point for my #american #healthcare friends - it cost me nothing. Nata. Which system is better?

2/ He ordered up a brain MRI for me, which happened relatively quickly. The MRI found nothing on my vertigo, but it did spot a small mass in the frontal lobe, benign but menacing. My neuro decided it was worth keeping an eye on it, so another MRI was made for 10 months later... (cont)

3) Fast forward 10 months, the MRI showed that mass had grown by 50% and it had to come out. (I was at risk for seizures, left eye going blind based on the location) In Jan 2019, I had a craniotomy to (successfully) remove the tumor, which again, thankfully, was benign. (cont)

I've been watching hockey for 40 years and I still cannot get over the abuse players put themselves through. They will literally throw their faces in front of a screaming puck, and I mean, have you felt a hockey puck? That thing frigging HURTS.

You are up to date.
