He also got a nice new run on Friday. Bit flimsy to deal with I must say, but it’s an improvement from his rotten wooden one.

Loads better today. Seems to be getting back to how he was before. Eating pretty much normally now which is amazing.

He seems to be doing alright. He’s not too keen on harder foods but he’s eating things like hay, lettuce, grass etc.

He had a nice bath earlier and is much more active now. Getting closer to how he was before. He didn’t want to stop taking the critical care! 💙

He’s eating a lot more grass and is more active as it begins to cool down. I’m guessing his recovery is being slightly hindered by the relentless heat!

Oh no Pigdad. Im so sorry. But please don't give up on him. He's a fighter fairplay. Just keep on giving him his critical care and make sure he's well hydrated 💙. Sending love and hugs 💙

Little the vet could do sadly. Already an impressive recovery but we can expect the trauma of it to make him slower permanently. Esp at his senior He’s been very keen with critical care and has been eating some of his hay and hard food. He just needs more time to rest up really 💙

He seems to be well thanks! He’s been eating more and drinking a bit, but he’s still (understandably) lethargic. Doing my best to keep him cool and happy in a familiar environment. He’s a wonder pig

@bybubble.bsky.social How is Bubble, Pigdad 🙏🙏🙏🙏🤞🤞🤞🤞💙💙💙

I went in to adjust him and put him in a position that would be more comfortable for him, and when I touched him he did the usual “seizure” thing and then he just stood up and started looking around (??) He’s not too keen on food (understandably) but I’m pretty sure he drank a bit of water.

Oh no Pigdad. I'm so sorry. Please don't leave him alone 💙

Really what I’m worried about is the twitches indicating brain damage. And that the drive to the vet will stress him out more and kill him. Can’t think of much else to do really

It’s been about 3 hours of him doing the same twitch over and over. The online advice I’ve been following is that he’s in a deep sleep resting after what happened and that he likely has brain swelling etc. So what I’m planning on doing is keeping him in the dark and letting him rest
