So the Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurance was signed in 1994 by Ukraine, Russia, the US, and the UK. That should have been that. Russia violated the agreement by annexing Crimea and attacking Ukraine. Ukraine was duped by lies into giving up its nuclear program.

It looks like the Democrats are running against ghosts. Every ad is about Democrats, including the GOP ads. They want to talk about anything but themselves. But I have seen GOP Mike Rogers in ads. Does he really want to win? He looks like he was forced to run and is being held hostage.

I understand there should be some deference to presidential appointments, but only a degree. When supposedly the world's greatest deliberative body gives consent on appointees like we have now, they demonstrate their own incompetence. Rubber stamps. They would approve a banana. Who needs 'em?

The whole Republican Party is a child molester's club. As I become aware of it, the more miserable I am. They are everywhere.

When the White House is considering wholesale pardons for all staffers, that's not government, it's criminal conspiracy. This is pure organized crime. The pardons cannot be enforceable and granting a pardon in furtherance of a criminal conspiracy is a crime, as is accepting the pardon.

This is the season of political flyers, but oddly, every single flyer is about the Democratic candidate, even those sent by Republican candidates and PACs. I guess Republican candidates are modest and don't want to talk about themselves or what they will do (or have done) in office. Bwahahaha.

I'd be willing to bet there are more new natural-born Americans due to ICE detainees being raped and impregnated than there are foreign mothers who intentionally come to America to give birth. Trump's programs always fail and typically achieve results that are the opposite of those aimed for.

Republicans change laws because of greed for money and power, (making stock buy-backs legal, creating exemptions and giveaways for rich taxpayers, Citizens United, Santa Clara County versus Southern Pacific Railroad, etc.) but don't have wisdom to understand the disastrous impact in the big picture

The stock market has gone flat. Whatever misguided belief remained out there that Trump would bring prosperity died about 5 months ago, after which it's been a bunch of really soft months. Hopefully the fall won't be too painful on too many folks.

Trump likes to check out mens' asses and then talk about it at his MAGA rallies. MAGA is ostensibly anti-LGBTQ. But I guess it's okay with them if Trump is gay. The only way for me to connect those dots is if MAGA is made up of closeted gays. And I believe that's true in large part.

The United States and Israel have bombed a wide range of military, nuclear, industrial, cultural, and civilian-linked infrastructure across Iran. But I've never heard that they bombed production facilities where Nissan, Kia, Hyundai, Mazda, Suzuki or Mercedes build vehicles. Why?

The GOP switched sides after promising to defend Ukraine if Ukraine gave up developing nuclear weapons. Now the GOP is helping Russia AGAINST Ukraine. You turn your back on the GOP you'll find a dagger in it. They even stabbed Lindsay Graham posthumously. He's not dead enough for 'em.

Indigenous peoples of North America lived for 4,000 years in highly organized societies, practiced advanced farming, maintained law and order and diplomacy, clean air, clean water, and abundant resources. In just a few hundred years, white settlers spoiled it through mismanagement and folly.

The US Ambassador to Canada makes a mockery of diplomacy. He's a racketeer, not a diplomat. When Canadians complain about the treatment that Trump hands out to Canada "his excellency" Hoekstra threatens them with untold punishment. A diplomat should work to keep good relations. Not this fool.

In light of Trump's rogue foreign policy, joining the enemy in the Russian-Ukraine war, I call on the US military to intervene. Trump's move would make all of Europe react. Our troops may be ejected. Europe will have to take a hard look at defending itself from the US. Trump MUST be stopped!

The parties in the US are doing a horrible job, both. The US government is badly mismanaged by leadership that has been co-opted by special interests. A small handful of legislators take no PAC money. But if they do, they are against the people, not for. Other countries flourish, the US is dying.

I can't see voting for Democrats that campaigns on bipartisanship when the GOP is a Putin-loving criminal organization. Bipartisanship indeed! How about prosecuting Republicans instead of having a coffee klatch with them? They protect pedophiles and you want to work with them? That's disgusting.

The United States is on the brink of bankruptcy and doing nothing about it. You can't borrow your way out of debt. Did you ever know somebody that slowly killed themselves with drugs or alcohol or unseemly behavior and died young? It's hard to watch.

We have a debt problem. What we need to fix it is an executive. He or she would immediately eliminate the deficit and implement a plan to reduce the burgeoning national debt. Most voters apparently disagree and think we need somebody skilled in running up debt and filing bankruptcy. That's not cool

Trump is actively getting Americans into the crosshairs of the enemy. Limiting Starlink to Ukraine while exempting Russia from sanctions seems to be coincidental with Ukraine destroying data centers in Russia. It's not coincidental. Those Russian data centers spew MAGA and pro-Trump propaganda.

Trump loves Russia. His executive order exempting Russia from economic sanctions is intended to help Russia in it's war against American allies, particularly Ukraine, whom we promised to defend when they yielded their nuke program. Trumps act=a poignant example of his treasonous sentiments.

It's noteworthy that Jews were the victims of genocide under Nazi control, and Israel is perpetrating genocide under Likud control. It's strange also that both the Nazi party and Likud are both parties. Roll up the rug, it's gonna be a real shindig.

I gotta laugh when I see Republicans campaigning on lowering the stifling inflation they caused.

The Russian-Ukraine war isn't about a tiff between two countries. It's about the former Soviet Union trying to make a comeback and terrorize the world. Europe and America are all about nipping Russian aggression and imperialism in the bud. We built this huge multi-faceted alliance system to do it.

Is this all true? Trump cut off Ukraine's access to Starlink in order to give Russia an advantage in the Russian war on Ukraine? After the American people have spent billions along with Europe to stem Russian aggression? This is an emergency. Trump is a traitor to the American people.

We cannot allow the Trump gang to interfere with Ukraine defense. The US has spent billions helping Ukraine and stemming the imperialistic aggression of Russia. Trump and Musk are trying to undermine those efforts. Russian data centers are more important to them than loyalty to the US.

I have to believe that those Russian data centers were extremely important to Trump's operation. Since Ukraine started taking them out with drone attacks, Trump is in conspicuous panic mode. Putin must have threatened Trump over the issue and Trump is really scared. Putin's got something on him.

I don't know why the GOP is funneling money to Putin which he is then using to kill US troops. If somebody launches a missile at you, don't pause to wonder why, and focus instead on the fact they are trying to kill you. Defend yourself first. Journalists keep saying it doesn't make sense, it doesn't make sense. Why is the GOP funneling money to Putin which he is then using to kill Americans? But if you assume the GOP wants to hurt America, it makes perfect sense. Do you want to know why they want to hurt the US? I don't care why.

When I see the news every day, it appears there is an epidemic. Republican pedophiles. Every day another Republican is arrested for raping children. What about the Republican party makes it so attractive to child molesters? Or, why do Republicans rape kids? The correlation hints at cause and effect.

The US and Canada spend billions on border crossings with no legitimate reason for it. We are (or were) allies! How much do you think France and Belgium spend on border crossings between them? Virtually Zero Euros! You wanna go from France to Belgium, or vice versa, go. Not even a stop sign.

I am unabashedly an open borders guy. I don't see the problem. There is unrestricted travel between 27 countries in Europe, no gates, no border guards asking you for your credentials before you can cross. You just go. The entire world was like that just 237 years ago. It should be again.

As a kid growing up on the East side of Detroit, the Canadian border was just a stone's throw away. As kids we'd rent an aluminum fishing boat and motor over to Peche Island, aware but unconcerned we were landing in Canada. As teens we would drive over to Windsor. Didn't need a passport or nuthin.

I have a feeling Trump isn't just a Russian asset, bult that he is heavily invested in Russian assets, too. His anger at the destruction of Russian data centers and refineries tells me it's a personal loss for Trump, and not just a loss of pro-Trump propaganda machines, but a loss of money.

I see a poll showing Trump's approval rating has hit a new low and marvel at the large percentage that approve. 30%. Take 10 random Americans, starve them, torture them and put them in the hospital w/ no health insurance, 3 of them will think you're a great guy

Do MAGA people go around trying to sell their madness? I'm never approached by anybody selling Trump or any GOP idiots, so I wouldn't know. Are they mortified and want to hide that they voted for Trump? Or maybe I just don't look like somebody that would condone rape, child molestation and racism.

Trump cut ancient trees in violation of a court order, another instance of Trump being a nuisance to the US. I guarantee he bankrupts the place. Like everything he touches, he'll kill it. Like Kennedy Center. Trump takes over, place fails. Trump takes over, place fails. It's a mantra.

Trump is livid at Ukraine and I have a feeling it's tied to the destruction of a Russian data center that was pumping out pro-Trump propaganda. I have no illusions about what side Trump is on, and it's not with US allies. He's open about his affection for Putin and Russia. And they love him.

I'm concerned Trump is getting ready to freeze all assets in the country, which means freezing your bank account, under some made-up emergency. Yes, yes, I know that's illegal. Legality hasn't mattered for a while now. If your money is in the bank, it's in Trump's reach.

Well Trump really punished Canada. After telling Canada to go sell their diesel fuel somewhere else, he paid double the price to buy it from Russia. Smart businessman, if losing money is the goal. Oh.
