Greetings, Blue Sky people! I'm Camations, Cam, Cameron, whatever the hell my name is, i forget sometimes. Like many of you, I am a refugee of the Social Media Website Formally Known As Twitter. I make art, animations, and [third category of media content]!

update on this now that 4LD is out: jim was finished last month, millie will be the second (possibly final?) custom guard i make before i start working on custom animatronic skins with more of my OCs, which the new content update made easier. this will all be released as one big mod pack

🎃 DAMN-ations 🎃@camations.bsky.social

i dont remember if i talked about this already but a few months ago i started working on a custom nightguard mod for Frickbear's 3 with a handful of my ocs i havent worked on it in a long time, but i plan on picking it back up after the final major content update drops

i have one friend who always gushes abt how cute they think cam-explainer is when i draw him and like, to each their own, but really? this thing? what do you mean? what even is this thing, a roach? its weird and strange. what.

we also both agreed that hes experienced so little affection in his life that he has no idea how to respond to it. if you so much as pat him on the head he would freeze up and fall over like a startled goat. if you hugged him he would go limp and most likely explode in your arms. be careful

base versions of the stills, without all the filters ive wanted to try photobashing for a while, this was a fun experiment. i considered using the actual VCR i own to get the VHS effects but i wanted to see how well i could replicate it with just GIMP filters (plus i was too lazy to set it up lol)

'nother midterm assignment. for this one we had to animate a scene in adobe after effects that could loop seamlessly. everything was drawn in GIMP 2.8 (my art program of choice) then animated with keyframes and precomps #oc #ocart #ocsky #collegeassignment #adobeaftereffects

midterms assignment for character design class we had to take a real-life car and design a character around it. alternatively we could use an original character we already had as long as we made distinct/notable changes to their design, which is what i did #oc #ocsky #collegeassignment

refined ref sheet for this little creature plus i wanted to give him a proper backstory and try to explain (ha) how there can be multiple explainers besides JE (its an alt timeline where her trademark was finally registered) #siivagunner #explainersona #sona #oc #ocsky #fanoc #robotoc

🎃 DAMN-ations 🎃@camations.bsky.social

a lotta artists in the siivagunner community have been making their own explainer sonas so i succumbed to peer pressure and made one too #siivagunner #sona #oc #ocsky #fanoc

nothing in this world will make you suicidal quite like live drawing classes do youll be drawing thinking "hey i think im starting to improve" then your professor comes up behind you like the spy from tf2 but instead of stabbing you they say "ok heres why this fucking sucks" which is arguably worse

hyperbole obv but ughhhh its miserable. ive taken THREE live drawing classes (technically four bc i flunked out of one and im retaking it this year oops) and the only one of them i didnt hate was the one where we just drew objects and scenery without any human anatomy

OC-Tober Day 11: Friends OC I bounced around with who I wanted to draw for this prompt, but during American Illustration class we learned about JC Leyendecker and I just Had to redraw one of his works with Hakuko. And Cams outfit works perfect for a fadeaway! So It needed To Be Done. ENJOY!

ive had this model for over a year and this is the first time ive actually animated him lol ive made way more changes to the rig since the last time you all saw it. heres a new comparison bsky.app/profile/cama...

tried a more abstract background for this one and i think it turned out really good. this whole year in general ive been trying to branch out from flat color/gradient backgrounds and i think ive come pretty far in that regard

fun fact i never actually told my parents why i wanted a bulletin board for my dorm. all i said was i "might want to hang some art up" no idea what im gonna do when they come by and see it. i can only subtly gatekeep them from seeing my room for so long lmao
