I'm actually glad the Ocarina of Time remake is launching on almost the same day as WoW: Forever. By the time I'm done 100%ing OoT, hopefully the queues to log in to Forever will be shorter.

Anyone seriously trying to blame Veilguard or "wokeness" for the death of BioWare is playing directly into the hands of the people that actually killed BioWare; EA, venture capital and private equity.

In "honor" of the latest news, here is my personal top 5 most devastating EA closures: 1. DreamWorks Interactive 2. BioWare 3. Visceral 4. Pandemic 5. Mythic

question for the audience: if you were ultra rich (let’s say $25M), what completely frivolous thing are you buying?

Straight men desperately need to read more smut. Some of them see one boilerplate tsundere archetype, and they think they've seen the face of God.

A little surprised to see overwhelming love for Guzran from Fire Emblem fans. I think mine got fucked over by bad RNG, cause he's doing nothing for me in Cai's route. Thankfully, Noctula slotted into his space pretty easily.

I will NEVER get over the amount of people I saw, including supposed professionals, who swore that Microsoft buying Bethesda and Activision-Blizzard would be good for the industry.

The Information: 'Xbox is planning to lay off hundreds of employees this week in its second major staff reduction this year, according to someone briefed on the plans. The Microsoft-owned firm also plans to consolidate several of its game studios, this person said.'

Been playing around with WoW Forever's talent calc, and I'm really looking forward to trying out a pet-less melee survival hunter when it goes live. It probably won't be "viable," but considering I don't even do high tier endgame stuff on live servers, I'm not too worried.

This is what it actually looks like when weak men create hard times. We've gone so long with so many deadly diseases nearly eradicated that men like RFK Jr. believe they are simply immune to it, and anyone who isn't should be culled.

This post is unavailable.

WoW Forever sounds great, but the main thing I'm worried about are races. The vast majority of my characters are goblins and pandaren, and I don't know if I can go back to anything else. Hopefully goblins at least can come in a future update.

I love Splatoon Raiders, but if there's one thing that could be improved on in a sequel, it would be improved survivability. The reason the speed tank is objectively the best is because it's mobility based gadgets allow you to avoid damage, which the only form of enhanced survivability in the game.

The other tanks need something to help them compete. Maybe give the power tank gadgets that give you armor on top of your health, and the tactical tank gadgets that provide direct healing or a heal-over-time effect.

Her name is Sha Lan and she has a gun. She is perfect.

If marriage/S-supports are still a thing in Fortune's Weave, I already know I'm going for the cleric who looks like Cheryl from Pokemon.

"I hate haranir! They're shoehorned into the plot, and they're Mary Sue's, and they should've been Amani trolls instead!" Ok, Ok, I hear you. But have you considered that they're also really hot?

YouTube keeps trying to recommend me videos called "I react to memes only BOYS will understand!" And the "memes" in question are always just "peeing standing up" and "sex."

I've never gotten over the amount of people who defended Microsoft's ludicrous, decadent acquisitions with claims that it would make gaming better by "promoting competition." Genuinely want to know how those people feel now.

The Verge: MS currently weighing closing at least five studios including Arkane Studio (Blade) and exploring options to sell Arkane Studio Xbox layoffs reportedly starting July 6th. "the layoffs will lead to studio closures or spinoffs, potential mergers of studios, and canceled games."

Mild TADC spoiler: I haven't stopped thinking about Ragatha and Pomni's hug all weekend. That scene was everything to me, so much catharsis released in those few seconds. I love this show.

Thinking about getting ahead of the curve and making a 50 minute video essay about how the Mario Galaxy Movie is actually a deeply misunderstood avant garde masterpiece that people just weren't ready for. It'll probably do big numbers in twenty years.

I like to think I've done a decent job of keeping up with modern slang, but there are still moments that confuse me. Like, what do you mean 'having the sauce' is good but being 'lost in the sauce' is bad? What is an acceptable level of sauce?

Pokopia is doing things to me that no other game has done. I'm planning on moving and renovating the Pewter City museum, block by block, to my island and I'm actually taking reference photos and drawing up floor plans with a pad and pencil! This game is special, don't let anyone tell you it's not.

"Pokopia is Switch 2 Animal Crossing!" "Pokopia is Dragon Quest Builders 3!" "Pokopia is Viva Pinata 2!" All of you are wrong, Pokopia is actually Dark Cloud 3.

Not-so-fun fact: the North Dakota Historical Society had been trying for years to turn the Nekoma Pyramid into a state historic site, and as governor, Burgum sold it to a bitcoin mining operation instead. The man has always been a slimy suck-up only interested in lining his own pockets.

Burgum: "President Trump did the bold, courageous, decisive, leadership ... he's taking actions that are going to make things more affordable in America"

I appreciate Pokopia and WoW Midnight for letting me live out the ultimate fantasy of owning a home and having the money to decorate it properly.

A reminder that "We were just following orders." was an excuse the Nazis came up with after the war was over and they realized everybody hated them. As the slaughter was happening, they loved it. They signed up specifically to terrorize and murder people they didn't like.

Staff at the nation’s largest Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facility have placed bets on which detainee will be the next to die by suicide, according to new reporting from the Associated Press based on 911 calls and detainee accounts.

I've never understood the obsession with Pokemon walking on four legs instead of two, and I understand even less in a post-Paldea world where Meowscarada was easily the most popular starter.

I'll be honest, none of the new starters are jumping out at me the way Fuecoco and Grookey did. I don't dislike them, there's just not not a clear winner for me. Guess I'll hold off picking one until we see the evos.

I think I can live with the shaman changes in WoW Midnight, but Icefury and Ice Strike NEED to come back. They were such fun mixup to the usual rotation and, not to mention, Frost Shock is useless without them.

I don't know why, but this new trend of people saying they "rolled credits" on a game when they beat it rubs me the wrong way. I guess it just reminds me of those awful days in the late PS360/early Ps4Xbone era when games were trying way too hard to be more like movies.

I've never understood why people don't like Mega Aerodactyl. "All they did was add spikes to it!" Yeah, and have you seen the fan-made Megas? 90% of them are just 'the same thing, but with more spikes.' This is what y'all want.

Was just forced to watch a Google AI assistant ad that made a "powerhouse of the cell" joke while the Trololo song played in the background. Genuinely, what year do AI bros think it is?

"Operation Rolling Thunder? More like Operation Rolling Pronouns, amirite?"

Trump: "The problem with Vietnam, we, you know, we stopped fighting to win. We would've won easy. We would've won Afghanistan easy. We would've won every war easy. But we got politically correct. 'Oh, let's take it easy.' We're not politically correct anymore, just so you understand."
