I’m not going to claim to agree Talarico on much of anything, but to dismiss the problems of Trump and others because they are “not a pastor” while claiming a vote for JT/Dems is evil and heretical is blatant hypocrisy.

If Ilhan Omar is involved in criminal activity, then she should be held accountable. On the other hand, if this raid is about lawfare and vengeance, then Trump and the DOJ must be held accountable. The truth will come out, and if should come out quickly. Release the warrants.

It’s very odd for a party that claims to be pro-life to be reveling in death. It goes beyond making an execution a spectacle and includes the summary killings of boat crews assumed to be carrying something bad, as well as utter disregard for health and wellbeing of immigrants and…

Polling probably isn’t exact, but the red flags being raised are real: unpopular POTUS, unpopular war, high gas prices, inflation, slow growth, and a general sense of chaos and corruption. The surprise is that polls aren’t worse for GOP, and that’s due to heavy spending.

I think a lot of the accounts that are decrying the polling are either trying to buck up the base or don’t possess the imagination to understand that GOP is very unpopular and voters are angry. Dems may not win every tossup race (that’s why they are tossups) but it will be ugly.

From @captainkudzu.bsky.social "There is a reason the founders and preceding generations of legislators set up processes for how replace government buildings with other ones. A big reason is that the whims of one president can be easily replaced by another, & things get whipsawed back and forth"
