Stupid strength training stabilizes my hypermobile joints so I don’t have 1001 low level aches all the time.

infuriating: doing cardio for 20 minutes a day makes me look and feel better

Crap I forgot alt text. It’s the sun looking red and ominous in the background. In the foreground is my garage roof and a construction crane from a neighboring property

I have exercise-induced asthma so controlling respiration is always top of mind of me. Respiration and heart rate are linked and I personally crash out so fast if I start hyperventilating. (I am uhhhh not an elite athlete. Just someone who is pretty active.)

Switching to nose breathing has been such a game changer for me feeling less exertion during max effort periods (without losing speed) and faster recovery esp during HIIT classes. And what is football (soccer) if not HIIT? (Unless you’re a ref, then it’s just 90 minutes of HIT)

SUCH a good cosplay of Kinger from Amazing Digital Circus - this is right outside a movie theater playing The Final Act on opening day

I forgot alt text! It’s Kinger from Amazing Digital Circus, wearing a big headpiece with a cross on top to look like a king from a chess set (as in the IP) and a black shirt and purple robe

This poor benighted dark crimson rose lives a diseased life under a lilac which hogs all the sun and fresh air and probably water. If that other rose is the Favorite Child, this one is a red headed step child.

Not a very good picture of it but there’s another dark red rose just starting to come out, behind the fading rhododendron and some white peonies.

More dark red and some blush pink. The pinks are probably my favorites of all the roses - very few thorns, wonderful fragrance, the blooms last a long time on the plant and when cut.

Ahhhh so I picked up @trungles.com ‘s Angelica and the Bear Prince on a whim yesterday & it’s the best thing I’ve read in AGES. I’m hoping my kiddo reads it so I have someone to talk about it with. The character arcs are so good! All the subplots are so thoughtful. The art is divine. All the feels.

All the weeding that I did has paid off - I can enjoy the spring flush of blossoms without feeling dread and shame from all the weeds

I don’t think anyone is going to have an opinion on this. But does Whitey the Rat from Flushed Away look like Jason Statham to anyone else?
