Nutcracker performed well this morning at Mundesley, my first in Britain since Westleton 41 years ago, and just like that one totally unafraid of the birders

The Isabelline Shrike showed well this morning at The Hollies, Pakefield, supporting cast of SEOwl on the beach and a Snow Bunting further south, 2 Great Egrets in/off, also a very elusive Lapland Bunting

Nearly trod on a Short-eared Owl at Beach Farm, Benacre which flew off over the copse, a large diver offshore was almost certainly a Great Northern but only had bins today also a Wall Butterfly

Red-eyed Vireo was very elusive again today in the North bushes at Minsmere, first seen at 9.38 for a minute then not seen again till 1.30 when it showed a lot better than yesterday but still elusive

Managed to see the Red-eyed Vireo at Minsmere briefly twice in the bushes and once in flight, it wasn’t seen after about 4.30. It was my fifth in Suffolk
