Hi #PortfolioDay I'm Carson, a Chinese Canadian illustrator who's been working in freelance illustration since 2012 I've run my own t-shirt company, made emotes and overlays for twitch streamers, and also worked on a couple indie games. I'm also a partnered twitch streamer - I stream 4 days a week!

It's 4 days until Halloween... 🦇 Let's fill Bsky with spooky art. QRP with a spooky piece!

Hey friends, Spent the weekend out of town with family, but I'm back and it's time to do some art! Also it's an impromptu co-stream with the incredible @jaws-stone.bsky.social. See you in about 10 minutes on twitch! twitch.tv/carsondrewit

Artists! Quote with your dark art! #art #b&wart

post your cosmic/stars art ✨🐴✨

Hey friends, throw some hands. #artshare #art #b&wart

It'll be another short-ish stream today so I can get commissions done afterwards, so I'll see folks in 10 minutes on twitch to mess around with this drawing and brainstorm our next tarot card! See you there! twitch.tv/carsondrewit

We did a short stream earlier today, and managed to spend a bit of time on this personal piece I sketched last month. It was nice to just turn my brain off and sketch something for myself for a couple hours.

Thank you to everyone who helped us raise over $1k for #SaveTheVaquita week! We drew some very fun and sometimes cursed vaquita. Today I'm doing a short stream before needing to get to work on commissions, so I'll see you for a "short" 4 hour personal art stream in 10 mins! twitch.tv/carsondrewit

Update: We raised well over $25,000 for the vaquita!! Combined with last year's total, we are looking at $40,000+ that is going to go toward some MAJOR conservation work! I'll let you know when I can share more! Catch the VOD w/highlights reel & more: www.twitch.tv/videos/29037... #SaveTheVaquita

Holy shit 1 away from 10k! Thank you so much everyone!! I'm too busy to be able to devote the proper attention I would want to give to doing an art share celebration, but I just wanted to say thank you. We'll do one in November if all my work goes well!

Artists, show your portraits! Mixing things up with a traditional brush and ink piece I did back in 2020

Artist! Quote with your bloody art 🩸

Hey friends, I made a couple pixel art twitch badges today for our #SaveTheVaquita fundraiser stream coming up this Saturday. Just wanted to share them and let folks know I'll be drawing vaquita and doing some cursed challenges while we make them. Hope to see you there this weekend!

Hey friends, We're going to see if we can finish this very loose interpretation of the Chariot tarot card and then do some prep work for our #SaveTheVaquita stream on Saturday! See you in 10 minutes on twitch! twitch.tv/carsondrewit

If you see this, post a skeleton 🦴

Hi friends! After another weekend of working on screening in our porch, it's time to get back to work on this boat propeller turned tarot card. See you in 10 mins on twitch! twitch.tv/carsondrewit

If you see this post a monster!

Another day, another close up to share! Today it's Blue! I'm especially happy with how the hourglass turned out. Check out the whole set of MTG themed t-shirts here: edhijinks.com/products/wubrg Also, giving away all 5 shirts to a random person who leaves a comment here: bsky.app/profile/alia...

Hey friends! We finished our most recent tarot card, time to research and make our next one! See you in 10 minutes on twitch! twitch.tv/carsondrewit

Hey Artists, Let's try a different kind of art train. Pick an aspect/idea/object from this piece and share one of yours that relates to it.

Throughout the week, I wanted to share some close up details from these designs I did! I'm really proud of them, so if you love MTG as much as we do, have a look at those shirts and grab one from your favourite colour identity! Today's close up is from the White design

It was an honour to once again work with @aliasv.bsky.social and @goberthicks.bsky.social to create these designs! I hope folks enjoy them!

Today's the day we FINISH THE BUNS! See you in 10 minutes on twitch! twitch.tv/carsondrewit

Hey friends, Been afk for the last 5 days helping my father-in-law build us a screened in porch (it's still ongoing), but today I wanted to sneak in a short (4 hour) stream today and get some work done before getting back to porch building. See you in 10 minutes on twitch! twitch.tv/carsondrewit

Quote your art with fire on 🔥

Artists, show us how you draw black women!

I never posted this, but here's the film still studies I did on Saturday. Films studied: The Night of the Hunter, High and Low, and Stalker. Today we're researching and then drawing a new tarot card! See you in 10 mins on twitch! twitch.tv/carsondrewit

Quote with your bird art 🪶 🗡️

Do I have a ton of work to do? Yes. Did I start a new personal illustration instead? Also yes. It's also unlikely I'll find time to finish this, so here's the rough sketch.

Hey friends, Let's wrap up some more commission work today! See you in 10 minutes on twitch! twitch.tv/carsondrewit
