Ahead of the WBC, Team Italy asked Vinnie Pasquantino to help them grow the game of baseball in their country. They knew he was the man for the job as soon as they heard his response. “Why wouldn't I give everything I have to these people?” My latest with MLB.com: www.mlb.com/news/vinnie-...

mlb.com‘This is your team’: Pasquantino proudly carrying Italy’s WBC torchBack when he was making his way through the Royals’ Minor League system, Vinnie Pasquantino began noticing a common trend. “People always tried to give me nicknames,” he told MLB.com, “so they didn't ...

Three months ago, Brandon Woodruff - the longest-tenured Brewer - announced he had to undergo shoulder surgery that might’ve been career-ending. Now he’s on the mound closing out Game 3 and bringing the Brewers one win from a World Series victory. How can you not be romantic about baseball?

The Rays thought they got the final out of the inning. Review showed they didn’t. The Brewers then scored *eight more runs* before the inning ended for real. You can probably start mapping out parade routes, Milwaukee.

The Brewers have scored five runs since this two-minute old post made after a review gave them an extra out

Aaron Ashby is the first pitcher in postseason history to get at least 5 outs in six consecutive appearances and not allow a run in any of them

The Brewers laugh off another postseason deficit, score five unanswered runs and take Game 2. Aaron Ashby, who's making an early MVP case, sealed the deal and put Milwaukee two wins from a title.

As you can see from this view, third-base coach Brady Williams instantly waved Liam Hicks around third for reasons unknown

Liam Hicks, who boasts a sprint speed in the bottom 12% of MLB, decided to head home on this single to shallow left. It went as you'd expect.

Holy moly. The Brewers looked like they had turned a game-ending double play with the bases loaded, but upon further review, Cooper Pratt's foot was off the bag at second. The Rays plated a run on the play and are currently still alive.

For as shaky as his outing started, Nick Martinez has really settled down on the mound. He's already at five K's, a total he's hit just once in a game since August 18.

What would've been an incredible diving grab by Jonny DeLuca instead becomes the Brewers' first run of the game. Only fitting that Christian Yelich is the one to knock it in.
