Thank you #TFCon folks! As always, you all are what makes this show special. Thanks to everyone who stopped by my table this weekend. Your positive energy fills my heart. Hope everyone has a safe trip home, and I hope to see you all again at future shows!

I just heard the news. What a devastating loss. He played a hero, and became a hero. He gave that character life. Through that character he touched so many of us. He was Optimus Prime, and Optimus Prime was him. RIP Peter Cullen. Thank you for being him, and for being YOU.

As a fan of the OG Marvel TF comic it was fun to draw a Mechannibal for this cover Here’s my lineart drawn in “animation” style, and the cover it was based on.

Submitted for your approval. An Autobot shuttle, a distress call, and a planet where nothing is as it seems. The Transformers: REANIMATED, Issue 83 - Live to Serve, is OUT NOW! Written by Greig and myself. Cover art by @caseywcoller.bsky.social and @wordmonger.bsky.social - #NCBD #Transformers

People like Kane and many many others that do care about human art and the creative process have been a beacon of hope while trying to navigate making art in this current climate.

I am forced to use AI for a job (I teach and I have to keep up with the developments and I hate it) and it's hand on heart way too bland and boring to ever use it lol It by design will always pivot to the most mediocre output. It's just how it works. I'm truly sorry for you if you think it's useful

“Everyone’s secretly using AI because it’s just too good!” No, no they’re not. This is the type of thing you say when you want to convince people you’re actually morally superior for wanting an algorithm to write your dog shit thoughts out for you.

There is no AI art. We need to stop using that term. “AI generated imagery” or something like that can work if you don’t want to call it slop. But it isn’t art. Semantic, sure. But it’s an important distinction.

Nice to see both versions!

Missing Link Ironhide is here! The new reveal is exciting — but also prompts absolutely TONS of questions... is this an 'upgraded' attempt at the original toy, or something new entirely? Let's examine the evidence here --> tfsource.com/blog/20... What do you make of this one?

Still, insane that this is the rendering that graces the cover of the second best selling comic OF ALL TIME

Old Liefeld is so much easier to look at. Sure, it’s still riddled with flaws, but it has dynamism and youthful energy. The loose inking style is so much more forgiving than when an inker tries to “make sense” of the jumbled hands and overly rendered faces. A simpler time.
