Nothing should require infinite profit or growth to be considered successful. If an effort can sustain itself at it a capacity where it fulfills its function, that is a successful endeavor. Infinite growth is the capitalism mindset and requires slavery and poverty to function.

I have a new earworm of a song in the works but it's actually a bit dancey and I wish I had the skill to additionally make a small choreography for it 😂 very mad hatter and cheshire cat themed, I feel like there is so much potential

The treats are a load-bearing coping mechanism, I fear.

This is going well, by the way!! Been getting up and moving throughout most days, and I now have been equipped with a standing desk at work. Let's keep it going!

THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY

Getting back to my weights and forgot how much of weight lifting is just resting between sets 🥲

bro have you eaten yet today had something refreshing to drink taken care of your body with gentle kindness gotten a breath of fresh air looked at something beautiful thought something kind about yourself fallen a little bit in love with something

I didn’t realize so many people think healthcare shouldn’t be a basic human right. I can’t understand this … Everyone benefits from equitable access to healthcare. You have a healthier, more functional society. What is the reason to oppose it? Is it just taxes? Genuinely seeking to understand

It’s a totally normal experience to drew an oc obsessively and accidentally end up turning into them over the course of 5 years? … right? Right?! - #ocart #manifestingwtf #omgyoudumbbutt #youdrewyourfutureselfyouidiot

For those in their 30s and up: How many people (not counting family) do you still talk to from your childhood/teen years?

A good playlist, also know as having a spiritual experience on the train by yourself and people around you don’t even know?!

An early implementation of my goal to enjoy life more this year is to try moving my body every half hour at work. Just for a minute or two - some simple body weight exercises or stretches. Sitting at a desk all drains me and I want to feel, well, NOT drained every day thank-you-very-much.

No matter your sexuality, all words leave your head when the really pretty muscular lady at the gym calls you "my darling"

In case you missed it! My newest song is extremely heartfelt. Inspired by all the stories that people share with me through the course of being a creator myself. open.spotify.com/track/2pIOgm...

Going into the new year, my main goal is to just try to ENJOY things more. The world can be cold and life is hard enough, damn it.

Being a well socialized introvert with social anxiety means I will happily, albeit awkwardly to any witnesses, sit alone for half the function and then be the life of the conversation once I’ve found a group I’m able to chat with.

In case you're interested, this the core feed I built and am working from to build out my new Discover Fresh Indie playlist! Since this is an endless stream of new music, I anticipate actually being able to keep this one updated with new tracks every couple of weeks. bsky.app/profile/anne...

I use adblockers and enable basic privacy settings so religiously that it is incredibly jarring when I get on a new device where none are installed or set. The web is damn near unusable for me without them.

Thanks to the custom Bluesky feeds I now have reliable sources to regularly find new indie music to work from to build an indie playlist without relying on submissions or Spotify recommendations. Excited to share once I've got some playlist art going 👀 Covering rock, folk, pop, & singer-songwriter!

Started my Arcane rewatch last night even though I am not emotionally prepared because it's all that fills my little head for the past week

Babe wake up it’s time to have abstract and ironic exchanges of quips with strangers on the internet so we can collectively make to tomorrow once again while facing the looming absurdity of the now

It was already exciting when enough people were searching my name for music that Google started granting me the "Musical artist" title and image in the autocomplete dropdown. Now when you search my name, it ALSO suggests the most searched-for song of mine, too! It's the little wins. #indiemusician

The bus skipped the stop right before mine this morning. Between my sleepy haze and the fogged windows I didn't get out on time because even as we pulled away it was still announcing the previous skipped stop. A small grievance but unpleasant nonetheless. Thankfully, the day is already improving 💖

Trying to figure out what to call “posts” on here. I refuse and rebuke “skeet”. I keep almost saying/typing tweet. Post is bland 🤷🏾‍♀️

Hey you! Go write 1 positive review today for a podcast, book, game, actual play, or other thing that you like. Bonus points if it's an indie! It'll take you 2 minutes, but will mean the world to the creative who reads it.

Lots of indie Christmas music starting to pop up over on the New Indie Music feed 🎄 if you're looking to hear holiday music that isn't the same-old same-old, it's a good spot to be #indiemusic #holidaysongs bsky.app/profile/did:...

My newest song, Tell Me Your Story, is out December 27th! “Our stories they change who we are, if we let them, they’ll take us so far, bring us help if we tell them the colors and shapes of our lives, in the greatest adventure that no one survives” ❤️ Pre-Save: distrokid.com/hyperfollow/...

Just saw "If I Had Skeletons" hit 30k plays on Spotify today!! That is a first-time milestone for me! By far my most played song and if it keeps up, will easily be the first of my songs to hit 100k plays within the next 6 months - 1 year 🤩 open.spotify.com/track/0BzHw1...
