When was the last time you changed your mind? In a world where everyone wants to be right, humility takes courage. Listen. Learn. Be open to another perspective. Changing your opinion isn’t weakness - it’s a sign of wisdom, honesty, and growth. #ThoughtForTheDay inspired by St. Eugene de Mazenod 🙏✨

Deeply inappropriate, to put it mildly. Sharing footage of Catholic bishops praying over Trump days before elections risks turning faith into political advertising. Our calling is to proclaim the Gospel, defend human dignity, and hold power accountable. www.ncronline.org/news/ahead-e...

Feeling overwhelmed by what lies ahead? You don’t have to walk alone. Entrust your worries to God, seek Mary’s loving protection, and ask His angels to guide your steps. Then share that blessing with someone who needs comfort, courage, and hope. #ThoughtForTheDay inspired by St. Eugene de Mazenod 🙏💙

This weekend reflection... “Give therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.” Caesar's image is on the coin; God's image is in you. Fulfil your duties to society. Offer God your whole life. #SundayReflection #FaithInAction

"We are losing our soul as a nation...We must act now and act together. For Jesus weeps, and he will continue to weep until we go to the side of the road, lift up the victim, embrace him and make his pain our own." #CardinalMcElroy #PrayForAmerica

Worry grows when we expect everything - and everyone - to be perfect. Make the best of what you’ve been given, leave room for human weakness, and choose grace over frustration. Peace begins when we stop demanding perfection from life and people. #ThoughtForTheDay inspired by St. Eugene de Mazenod 🙏✨

Oct 7 Scripture Somebody came to me and asked, "Which is the perfect prayer in Catholicism. I said, "The Lord's Prayer" (Lk 11:1-4). He looked disappointed. I said to him, "It is the prayer Jesus taught. If we pray it like Jesus taught, it will transform our life and the world. "Our Father..."

Today the Church celebrates the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross 🙏 God of Love and Mercy, by the Cross we are redeemed. We ask that You do not abandon us when we sin but lead us back to you. We make our prayer through Christ our crucified and risen Lord, Amen (The Southern Cross)

Today we celebrate the Most Holy Name of Mary. We honor Mary for her faith, her strength and her love for Jesus. May she continue to guide us closer to her Son and help us say “yes” to God in our own lives.

Some people enter our lives as unexpected gifts of grace. Treasure those connections. Thank God for the people who encourage your faith, strengthen your hope, and help you become more fully yourself. And pray that together you may grow in God’s Spirit. #ThoughtForTheDay St. Eugene de Mazenod 🙏✨

What are you carrying today? When fear says you’re alone, St. Eugene de Mazenod reminds us: “God in his goodness comes to the help of those who place their trust in him.” Take one faithful step and leave the rest with God. You are not alone - never lose your confidence. #ThoughtForTheDay

Aug 7 Scripture "Whoever wishes to come after me..." (Mt 16:24). Jesus does not force anyone to follow him. It is a free choice. But if we are indeed making the choice to follow Christ, we must follow Him, not make Christianity subject to our ideologies and -isms. Christian nationalism, for example.

True friends are rare - the ones who notice, listen, and stay when life gets difficult. Don’t take their care for granted. Thank them, cherish them, and become that kind of friend for someone else. Genuine friendship is one of God’s greatest gifts. #ThoughtForTheDay St. Eugene de Mazenod 🙏✨

Aug 6 - Feast of the Transfiguration Jesus took the disciples up the mountain. They wanted to stay up there but He brought them down the mountain (Mt 17:1-9). For us this means that we should get our perspective up on the mountain but life is to lived down the mountain.

This weekend reflection: Life is rarely black and white. It’s complicated, messy and colourful. Before labelling someone, listen to their story. God sees beyond our worst moment, notices the good still growing and patiently calls it to life. 🌾 #SundayGospel #FaithInAction

April 15 Scripture "And this is the verdict, that the light came into the world, but people preferred darkness to light, because their works were evil" (Jn 3:19). God so loved the world (Jn 3:16). Some still choose the darkness of hate, violence, and war. But, let's live in light and love.
