This is kind of cool… The Eagle Nebula Shot in 1897 Vs Shot by us in 2026 129 years apart 🤯 The store for our print closes tonight, link is below 🩷

The print store for this eagle nebula artwork closes on Monday This has truly been such an epic release and I’m so proud of the work @ajamesmccarthy.bsky.social and I put into this. The prints turned out so beautiful and I can’t wait to hear everyone’s reactions to getting them in the mail :)

Guys… if took us *months* of work. But here it is…. Andrew McCarthy photographed the area around the Pillars of Creation originally shot by Hubble… and he asked ME to edit it 🥹 Freaking oh my god look how it turned out!!! @ajamesmccarthy.bsky.social

If you’d like a print the store is open until Monday (30th.) Here’s the link - cosmicbackground.io/pages/beyond...

Can you help?… I’m trying to find my people I know there’s more space fans here… just not sure how to reach you Feels weird to ask, but would you give me a signal boost by hitting share? If you’re new… Hi I’m Cat, I make pretty picture of space 🥹 let’s connect if you like weird space art

What you’re seeing here are different chemical elements Red = hydrogen. Blue = oxygen. This is the Crescent Nebula, Ian & I took this photo with a 17” scope in the California’s desert for our February calendar image

And if you’re wondering what a 17” telescope looks like… It’s this bloody monster haha And yep, that’s a bed in the observatory so we slept under the stars 🥹

Bluesky vs X… So I shared the same post on my X account and even though I have 194k followers I had less intersection than here with only 5k followers. Trying to share the beauty of the cosmos in a perpetual dumpster fire environment is tough! Thanks to all at bluesky, you guys rock x

The calendars launched yesterday :) If you zoom in, you can see that each of the pages are perforated so you can continue to use the prints once the year is over :)

The Aurora art store closes in a few days. ✨🥰 link below xx

Had a few accusations saying I’m making AI art… Rest assured, everything I do is human made with love, from the ref to the paintings Mikko took this amazing shot in Finland and was kind enough to grant me permission to paint it. None of this is AI. 💕 all made with time, effort, and patience.
