Woke up with crushing anxiety after a nightmare, which unfortunately woke up my husband, too. Instead of being upset (he never is), he got up, brought me a cat, and offered to watch a movie with me.

It's been a difficult week but I took a walk in the cool, fall morning. Observed orb spiders and birds, gathered some acorn caps (have a craft idea), and listened to ambient music. Now I'm making French toast with the leftover pumpkin sourdough. I can't control the day, but I can start it nicely

Still listening to music. Sat down to eat and read my book. My kitty jumped up to the chair next to me to give me a head boop, and her fur is warm from the sunshine she was sitting in. I wish the whole day could be like this.
