I took Dad for a Daddy Daughter Day of Adventure (which wasn't much except a train ride) for his 80th today, but he was so excited and had been looking forward to it for weeks. We had such a lovely time together - we did NOTHING, but I hope I never forget it. Just the 2 of us, with Mom's blessing.

I'm out of bread and out of tomatoes and I'm bereft. And hungry. And that's all I want - toast with tomatoes.
