I rely on Social Security benefits to survive . Thank GOD for FDR and Francis Perkins in 1935. Perkins initiated the ‘widow’s benefit’ which is what I receive from my ex since I had never remarried when he passed away. So glad I didn’t have to try and apply for that in this chaos.
