One of them just said that “they” (meaning the protestors) want chaos because it is a ladder to incite more violence. Elon Musk has essentially shut down the government already, might as well make it official. If necessary, a VERY short-term stopgap to give both sides time to come up with something that allows congress to keep their powers (and a CLEAN bill!) is certainly within reason.

I’ve hoped that all of the info that’s been disappearing from gov’t sites is recoverable. After reading this, it seems some stuff is gone for good. I realize that this wasn’t likely info available to the public, but I do hate to see years of research (AND the $ that was spent on it) down the toilet.
