I hope this is just a bandaid over the ReyLo spot since the next time we option Ritchie is the last time before we have to pass him through waivers. This CANNOT be the answer for trying to find a frontline starter.

NEWS, per ESPN's Jeff Passan: The Atlanta Braves are acquiring outfielder Lane Thomas and pitcher Bailey Falter from the Kansas City Royals Thomas is from Knoxville TN, has a 120 wRC+ against LHP, and great physical tools. Absolutely what the doctor ordered.

There is no way the Braves can afford to keep Grant Holmes in the rotation. Hasn’t gone farther than 5 innings since June 3rd.

In case you were wondering, Bart will be the 8th catcher used by the Braves in a season - a franchise record. The previous record of 7 was done in 1929 and 2021. Drake Baldwin Sean Murphy Jonah Heim Sandy Leon Chadwick Tromp Austin Wynns Jair Camargo Joey Bart

Spencer Strider shut down the Dodgers

This one's for you, Bobby ❤️

Beloved former Braves manager Bobby Cox has passed away at the age of 84. Here's the team's message on social media

A strong debut for JR Ritchie 👏 #BravesCountry

JR Ritchie today became the first pitcher in franchise history to complete at least 7.0 innings while allowing no more than two runs and striking out at least seven in his major league debut.

Brandon Gaudin loves that frozen pizza call like Jim Ross loved seeing Stone Cold stun somebody

The @Braves take the lead on a Dominic Smith bases-clearing double!

Brothers and sisters it is so nice to have a 4 run deficit early and *not* immediately feel that the game is over. This offense might play

Braves scorecard from tonight. When all the action happened in the 6th, I could barely keep up 💀 Great Braves win tonight

I think the Braves new City Connects are the key to win the rest of the season

West coast win! #BravesCountry

*record scratch* you might be wondering how I got here

I think if you expected the Braves and Angels to be the first fight/benches clear of the season, you should probably go buy a lottery ticket.

Sadly now 1-1 while scoring Braves games, but it is what it is. Elder looked sharp out there besides the error.

Hey this Drake Baldwin kid might be good

Okay now I *really* wish we started Perez tonight.

Kinda wish we started Perez over Suarez tonight

Hey this Drake Baldwin kid might be good

This is the ideal NL East. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.

is it bad that baseball helps me remember the day of the week lol

Quiet. Part. Loud.
