Christian Whitehead

Friends and colleagues, we're looking to add a senior 3D Character Artist to our current project! If this is you, please read the details and apply through our LinkedIn page. We are specifically looking for candidates who are proficient with anime-stylized visuals. Thanks ❤️

It is now 9 years since Sonic Mania came out 😱... another trivia nugget: at one point we had a screen that showed you the animals that were inside the Heavies giving them their personalities! It didn't make the cut (maybe didn't comply with brand guidelines or there wasn't enough time IDK)

Ah man, end of an era!

The source code of the SlaveDriver Engine, powering the 1996 game PowerSlave for the Sega Saturn, is now published under the GPLv3. github.com/Lobotomy-Sof... archive.org/details/slav...

It is now the 8th anniversary of Mania so time to dig up some Sonic trivia... This year, it's Kanga Clanga! (aka the Kangus). This lovable robo-roo originally lived in the outback but now entertains us all in Pinball Carnival Zone!

Following up, we also have a Level Designer position we're canvasing for, if you're eager to apply your talent and skills to a 3D project we'd love to hear from you!

Earthion is finally about to launch! First up, the Steam version will be released tomorrow. We’ve poured our hearts into this side-scrolling shmup — we hope you’ll give it a try and see what it means to us. Please play it and enjoy! Wishlist here: buff.ly/1DrYi7m

If you want to hear @cfwhitehead.bsky.social, @pietepiet.com, and @hunty.biz interviewed at the loudest party imaginable, @dylancuthbert.bsky.social interivewed on a train, and me ramble about showa era entertainment spots while traipsing through the Suwa countryside, this is the episode for you.

Ay moits! Glad to be here
