It's been a while since I played BPRE28mm - well, with things calming down, I think it's time to return to Awbari and get some figures back on the board. And very quickly remove them because it's BPRE28mm. Read on for all the details, only on ChargeBlog!

Still need basing doing but that's 13 BPRE Scorch fighters ready for Saturday, meaning at least the Cold Harbor guys will have the full selection from all three boxes. Also brings my Paint-Tober total to 14.

Little bit more progress on Paint-Tober. Just needing the final wash and dry brush tomorrow and then Scorch is done. Then it's time for Ayari Guard and Hongbin.

A little delayed update on Paint-Tober (or Pain-Tober depending on how I'm feeling). Going to be running some BPRE28mm games this weekend, so time to finish off the figures I hadn't painted. Scorch well on the way.

It's a new month, so it's time for a traditionally busy edition of The News Stand, with a pile of new releases, Patreon deliveries, and more! Read on for all the details, only on ChargeBlog!

October is here, so doing a Paint-Tober challenge. Having been aware for so long due to life, i'm mostly doing this to find what I need to relearn. First figure - Arsenal Vanguard Forge with a launcher. Attempted "glowing" lenses with contrast and a light layer of white ontop, not 100% on it.

Tonight's painting - not 100% sold on the final result (mostly the face) but was a fun model to paint and looking forward to other items from the Arsenal bundle I grabbed.

It's the end of September; Autumnal weather is fast approaching. But here on The News Stand, we have a rock-solid set of news this week for all things (mostly) Ultramodern Wargaming. Previews, releases, announcements and more are all in this edition, only on ChargeBlog!

Having recovered from playing A LOT of WarDogs, I'm here with a new edition of The News Stand. This week, we have vehicle releases, multiple sets of French Armour, figure releases and more! Read on for all the details, only on ChargeBlog!

Peeling myself away from a long weekend of WarDogs and Old World Gaming, it's time for this week's edition of The News Stand. And this week, in its new Saturday morning slot, there is a strangely high number of boats among the previews, releases, and more. Read on for the details, only on ChargeBlog

Having only just managed to pull myself away from the Wardogs beta, it's time for this week's (very late) edition of The News Stand. New month means plenty of new stuff, including releases, Kickstarters, and more! Read on for all the details!

It's the end of August, and it's been a busy week for me, but good news: we have some absolute bangers in this week's edition of The News Stand, with releases, previews and more. Read on for all the details, only on ChargeBlog!

After a delay due to work and after peeling myself away from two separate modern-day shooter game betas (one very easily, the other one I'll be running back to once I finish writing this), it's time for a double-week edition of The News Stand, only on ChargeBlog!

Yep, you know what that means. Currently very busy with the day job so I will be skipping this week's edition of The News Stand due to time constraints. These interruptions should become less common over the next few months, but apologies for missing this week. See you next Friday for a bumper issue

A little delayed due to spending some time actually rolling some dice (shocking, I know), but The News Stand is here to kick off August properly. New patron updates and releases, the arrival of books to Amazon and more, all in this week's edition of The News Stand!

The News Stand is coming but tonight was a little bit of Wargames Psychiatry with the Creative Regular Opponent on Project Elements. Positive first few rounds, definitely going to be fun once we run the elements at full size.

In every wargamer’s collection of terrain, buildings hold a special (and in many cases oversized) place. But what if there was some way to have a load of them for a fraction of the storage space? Luckily, Flank March Miniatures has a few ideas, and I have some more details on ChargeBlog.

July is done, and we come screaming into August with a pile of new things to look at. Force Builders, Supernatural Vietnam Kickstarters, plastic kits and more - all in this week's edition of The News Stand, only on ChargeBlog!

Summer is here, and so the cup doesn't quite floweth over as everyone takes time out. However, there are still some great previews for all things Ultramodern this week, so read on for more - only on ChargeBlog!

You can tell it's summer as this week's post is missing many of the big names (who I assume are taking a well-needed break). However, there are still plenty of exciting things to talk about, with releases, previews and more! Read on for all the details, only on ChargeBlog.

After a brief break (only partially intended), The News Stand is back with all the latest in Ultramodern Wargaming. New releases, new previews and more! Read on for all the details, only on ChargeBlog!

Bad news, everyone, looks like I'll be missing tomorrow's edition of The News Stand. The old ChargeRig's graphics card has failed after six years, so I'll be spending tomorrow evening getting it back online. Going to delay my return to the news until next week to get everything sorted.

Excellent day of Big Chain of Command with all three of the Regular Opponents. Pictured - the moment where my Tiger overran the British snipers. Not pictured: what happened to the Tiger a few phases later at the hands of the PIATs in the nearby Chateau Croissant.
