I see it's #NationalBlackCatDay so here's my morning alarm clock and Smootchie Queen, Cleo. She knows her name and the word "Smootchie", because she loves to give me boops with her nose when I say it. Even if I don't say it.

Case in point: This morning, I open my eyes and she's laying on my chest, waiting for proof of life, and she just started smooshing her nose against mine, purring like a nut. Oh, and she's the reason I occasionally buy a rotisserie chicken at the store. She loves her shares.
