Attention future Sundogs! We’re delaying the release of Young Suns on Steam to make sure we’re delivering the best version of the game, and are aiming to release early next year. Wishlist the game and follow us on Steam to stay up-to-date on development: hi.youngsuns.com/steam

Not sure if you noticed *tucks hair behind ear* but I had a 4 panel comic in the September Back to School issue of @exclaimdotca.bsky.social 🍂🎒 Thanks so much to Atsuko & Joseph for the opportunity!! #comicstrip

I was kinda getting sick of Pastel de Nata but then I got Nata withdrawal

I've been affected by this. I'll be remaining at KO_OP until the end of the year, at which point I'll be looking for full time animation work, either remote or onsite in Vancouver. I will likely open commissions around this time too, so keep an eye out.

i have unfortunately been affected by this, and will be leaving the studio at the end of this month. i will miss it dearly and am really hoping to make it back. ko_op is/was likely my last ride in games, but i am open to the right opportunity. deets on my experience in thread.

Extremely heartbroken to say that I'm one of the affected members. Working at KO_OP for four and a half years has been one of the best things to ever happen to me and I really hope that my teammates can land a pitch that can bring us all back together again.

Overwhelmed by all the kindness ; v ;

So sad to go but so grateful for the opportunity 🫶 I love the team sooooo much and hope to get a chance to work together again in the future! Our ko-working era may be ending, but the gifs will live on forever ✊

To say our cup is full would be an absolute understatement. Thank you to each and every one of you who took the time to visit us at Gamescom. We appreciate you! 🥹🖤

you should preorder the book btw, it comes out Oct 27 and we’re trying soooo hard to hit 1k preorders lol www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/824817...

no more tabling events to look forward to but I loved seeing people hit the spicy pages

super duper proud 💞

when we say young suns is about a revolutionary future, we mean it! all the characters have different ideas and relationships to what liberation looks like for them, but all of them are aligned in working towards a better world even if the methods aren't the same

Politics-free games don’t exist. We’ve always been open about where we stand, and Young Suns is no different. You can help a queer- and trans-run studio make this industry a better place for everyone by wishlisting Young Suns on Steam store.steampowered.com/app/4149610/...

new eyes in young suns thanks to our resident genius, @charlit.bsky.social!!!! 👁️🧠✨

Young Suns features dynamic storytelling that looks to the future with a radically optimistic viewpoint, focusing on the work that comes after liberation. You can help support a queer- and trans-led indie studio by wishlisting Young Suns on Steam! store.steampowered.com/app/4149610/...

And while it's linked in the piece, I want to especially mention @boarlord.club's article from The Outline in 2018 that dug into the same topic. theoutline.com/post/3032/fa...
