Chase | Looking For Work...!!

I'm officially opening illustration sketch commissions for the first time! I'm sure I'll work out kinks in the process as I figure it out, and I may end up increasing my prices, but for the time being this is all the right info! Thanks for checking it out!

do people prefer spelling dianna's name "soriel" or "soreil"? i just noticed the second spelling when i was looking things up, and i'm curious--wait i just found out mallygan actually wears a wig

we had a good thing, you stupid son of a bitch. you almost understood the international definition of an uncle, you even had the demographic right, you could've grasped a common framework of relational community, it was perfect

Try Flyinghead from France. It was a backup in the local adaptation of UFO Robo Grendizer ("Goldorak") from issue 34 to 38. Uncredited, author unknown, circa 1982 (websites mentioning 1978 are wrong, they're mixing it up with the airing date for the cartoon).

My fifth and final font for the @cartoonist.coop Letterer Challenge 2026! The prompt was "Font Selfie", so I made a font influenced by my own handwriting! You can download it here: chaseburns.itch.io/cb-compositi... #font #openfontlicense #lettererchallenge2026

i read Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities, which made me think about semiotics. and when i think about semiotics, naturally, i think about Nancy

i started reading galaxy express 999 and i like tetsuro and his big teeth. he can probably go through apples and carrots like nobody's business #galaxyexpress999 #銀河鉄道999

"borzoi" really sounds like a kind of mobile suit, doesn't it?

My third font for the @cartoonist.coop Letterer Challenge 2026! This one's prompt was "Sci-fi"! It's very alien! You can download it here: chaseburns.itch.io/turing-pest-... #font #openfontlicense #lettererchallenge2026

Maxime sent in these incredible photos of a 1/220 Jaguar II Zwei resin kit they purchased from us. These small scale garage kits based on Kazuhisa Kondoh's original Gundam designs have tons of detail and look fantastic, but it's rare to see them built. Great to see such a nicely finished kit!

Cat & Other

i drew this on a whim after seeing a photo of a cat grabbing a beer and hearing that they can drink saltwater, but i don't actually think they'd like it that much. so this cat is like one of those guys who drinks torturously spicy things all for recreation

My second font for the @cartoonist.coop Letterer Challenge 2026! This time the prompt was "Fantasy"! You can download it here: chaseburns.itch.io/thauma-heisler #font #openfontlicense #lettererchallenge2026

My first font for the @cartoonist.coop Letterer Challenge 2026! The prompt was "romance", even though the font doesn't traditionally look it... You can download it here: chaseburns.itch.io/tell-em-shak... #font #openfontlicense #lettererchallenge2026

i love lettering in comics. nice lettering really elevates a comic. honestly, when i draft up my own comics, the stage i feel the most happy at is when i've put in all the dialogue into empty panels: there's enough structure to make it feel real, but infinite possibility for the art to be great

Happy Letterer Appreciation Day!
