This TSA slowdown had me questioning my approach to travel. I have become so accustomed to sailing through security. I rarely come more than an hour before take off. Today I came 4 hours early to survive the ATL TSA line. I had about three hours to spare. How do people do that regularly? #tsa

Stop obsessing over bedrooms and bathrooms. The real power playsβ€”the ones that determine your wallet, your rights, and your futureβ€”are happening in the courtrooms and boardrooms. That's where we need our focus. #USpolitics #NoKings

So I'm sitting alone in a small crowded airport lounge at a table for 4. Most tables were for four, although most travelers were alone or in pairs. As the place filled up travelers began to join the others at their tables, except mine. Sometimes racism works in your favor. #travelchronicles

Ah yes, better that a million Americans die from preventable conditions than risk one undocumented person getting free healthcare. Nothing says 'pro-life' like slashing healthcare for the working poor. #HealthcareLogic #bigbeautifulbill

Today we celebrate Juneteenthβ€”the day enslaved people in Texas learned they were free, 2.5 years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Consider: supporting Black-owned businesses, learning about Black history, or donating to organizations fighting for racial justice. #Juneteenth #FreedomDay

As a first-generation student, there is so much that you don't know that it is hard to even ask questions. Then you waste so much time finding things out for yourself that you are often playing from behind. I am grateful that I found mentors to help me along the way. Good mentoring is essential.

First-generation chemistry students report having low expectations, finding it difficult to find guidance and feeling more isolated than their non-first-generation peers.

On this Super Bowl Sunday, when the NFL kowtowed and dropped the plan to use β€œEnd Racism” as its end zone message, I’m sharing this on the meaning of β€œwoke.” It asks: β€œHow is compassion, empathy and care for racial and social justice not something to embrace?” www.americaamerica.news/p/embracing-...

For all the Ravens fans who are mad that Saquon Barkley got MVP instead of Lamar Jackson, the difference is the Barkleys yardage to them to the championship. When it mattered the most Barkley came through and Jackson folded. And yes, I am a hater. #MVP #Eagles #Ravens

As a Steelers fan in recovery, I have come to terms with the fact that they aren't that good. They were just better than they were last year. I'm not sure where they go from there, but something has to change. #nflsky #Steelers

The thing I love about Mike Tomlin is his ability to get the most out of his players. He is going deep into that roster, and his guys are showing up! Austin, Patterson, Skowronik? Here we go! πŸˆπŸ–€πŸ’› #Steelers #nflsky

Don't use red and green data lines/surfaces in the same panel please #chemsky. It can be difficult for some colorblind readers to differentiate them. I've accepted (in principle) 2 papers today, and both sets of authors were asked to remove red/green colour contrasts www.nature.com/articles/d41...
