Just finished Ace Combat 8 and it's incredible, amazing what Bamco can do once they got that Elden Ring money. IMO it's in pretty rarefied air (lol) as a Truly Excellent Example Of Video Games

I need to make good on living my truth as a complete psychopath by playing 3: Electrosphere's fan translation and re-declaring my love for it as my favorite in the series though

(Also, I *love* the AC8 soundtrack, but it's not a super repeatable listen like 3's is. Physical Layer? Black Lotus? Linkage? The whole album was top of my Spotify a few years ago, and Shattered Stones was my most-played track. 8's is amazing but none of them are quite as *sticky* as 3's)

A little behind schedule but we're still kinda in there

2) February of 2026: With midterms on the horizon, the administration undercuts resurgent democrats by instituting UBI of $300/mo for anyone making <100k. Republicans easily hang on to a senate majority and Trump gets his big stupid signature on millions and millions of checks for years to come.

@marathonteam.bungie.net hey happy friday! I encountered a bug that might've crashed an entire server instance. This was a Dire Marsh (Night) raid on the temporary Rook fill queue. My duo partner and I had captured and baked the Anomaly and were working towards other goals.

We wound up in Maintenance and I opened an arms locker but dropped the completed anomaly to shuffle my inventory around for a second. As soon as it hit the floor, I lost connection to the Marathon servers. My buddy went to touch the anomaly and was also booted with Code: Anteater if memory serves.

I had to Alt-f4 and neither of us could reconnect to the match. We were thinking that whole sequence might've wiped the server out, or at least anyone touching the object. Anyway, kind of an edge case but thought you might like to know in case it's replicable or a one-off occurence. Thanks!

getting a level of 'people need to see this thing' out of Titanium Court that I haven't felt since Arctic Eggs, or maybe as far back as Paradise Killer and Cruelty Squad
