chordioid Scarey,,,

just to be clear: you can use chordioid's music for basically anything you want, including youtube videos, remixes, and modcharts for other rhythm games all i ask is that you give proper attribution, and release it under a CC-BY-SA compatible license (although i'm not too strict about that either)

and remember: all caps or no caps

4 Sept

honestly for youtube vids and such you dont really gotta worry about the license stuff, more trouble than its worth. just give proper credit and youre good

the entire soundtrack is and will continue to be released under CC-BY-SA (this only includes stuff on the actual OST, not any licensed or future crossover music) if you make something cool with the game's music, please send it my way! i love to see that stuff

just pushed a new First Breath build to Steam that hopefully fixes the issues some people have been having with WND Halting (and other looping effects, like in the tutorial) messing with attack patterns. let me know if anyone runs into any further issues!

i am a serious writer with serious ideas

do you have any idea how agonizing it is not being able to make AMVs about my characters because they're "part of a commercial project" and it would "count as advertising"

i may have created the Michael Jordan of passive suicidal ideation with this character

diversity win: this transgender character fucking sucks shit

if it were up to me you'd be getting Cal lyricstucks set to shit like this

i think to some people Intermission 1 is going to seem like a pointless boring diversion, and to others it's going to make them lose their fucking minds

so far i've shown it off to some likeminded freaks, and they all thought it was the coolest shit ever. but i recognise some people will probably feel it's not what they came here for. and that's okay. because i only want the freaks

small Quality of Life fix compared to the demo: editing your controls is much more intuitive! get right in there and add/overwrite/remove specific inputs in the list, without having to start over if you accidentally press the wrong button. validation errors are also clearer and more detailed!

it's 3am. they gotta put parental controls on this account for me or something

chordioid FACT: 9/11 happened

and in the game, too!

real talk, i cannot put into words how much every positive review of CHORDIOID: First Breath means to me the idea that people genuinely enjoy my funny little game fills me with a kind of nervous excitement that makes me need to stand up, pace around the room and flap my hands wildly to deal with
