Besides keeping your software updated and your fingers crossed, the biggest one here is to not install software from developers you do not know or trust. “Trust issues” reach a complete new level when it comes to open and closed source source code
It appears that some sort of AI/Cyber apocalypse is racing our way. Anyone have advice on non-freak out ways to protect oneself?

Part of why I don't like the AI-or-bust economy is the constant flopsweat of people on the news who say this HAS to work. Quit making everyone so anxious. Goddamn. If this is the next Google then why are you acting like this? I don't remember being told to buy an iPhone at gunpoint.
This kinda leadership is why America isn't lost yet. America is so worth it
Sliwa getting a flu shot: This could be very embarrassing. I’m supposed to be a tough guy, right? Mamdani: I can hold your hand. Sliwa: What happens if I faint? Mamdani: I got you. Doctor: You’re in great hands, literally. New Yorkers can find free flu shots and locations at nyc.gov/healthmap
