LOL Joe Mixon can’t play. But he was picked up in nearly every league of mine, and up on trade block in a few.

Being helpful cost us 4 hours in an airport. 🙄 First flight delayed, missed connection. Next flight full, we were 1st on standby. With 4 minutes to go, 3 checked in passengers hadn’t shown up. When I sat back down, 3 ladies said, “Are you going to Houston? We’re going to Houston.” It was them. 🤷‍♂️

I got chewed out by a ref for teaching a way-cool trick corner kick to my 12 yo soccer boys. P1 lines up for a corner, P2 comes & argues he should take. P1 moves the ball a bit on his way off the ⚽️ (thus live play). So now P2 can just dribble. Not like we even scored on the play but boys loved it.

In my early 20s, needed to pick up my car from repair 10 miles away in the Colo. mountains near Cripple Creek. Didn't know a soul, so hitchhiked. An elderly couple picked me up... I was so grateful I didn't lecture them...asked me to get in on the left side, because his wheelchair was on the right.

Puka (M) and Ladd (S late) Questionable… Playable Bench: Jakobi Meyers (S late) Pat Bryant (S late) Konata Mumpfield (M) I think if Ladd plays I should just bench Puka and play Meyers/Bryant. Right? Puka trending out. Rather get a known decent replacement than a known bad one.

A mini trade diary. 12 tm SF contending, but not the favorite. I made 2 trades with the favorite to set up a much bigger one today. The setup: I had both Pittman and DK Metcalf. Traded Pittman for a 28 1st and Drew Allar. After Deebo’s week 1 traded him to swap picks from a late 3 to an early 2.

And today was the payoff. Traded the 28 (late) 1st the 27 (early) 2nd and two young WRs (both acquired on waivers) for George Pickens. The things I like - - couldn’t have made this trade directly - the league favorite kinda gave me the ammo I needed to compete with him.

Happily traded for Ja’Kobi Lane 2 times today on rebuilding teams. Not a chance I get him at all last week.
