I’m a non-technical #founder of 3 #SaaS businesses (1 acquired), now coding with AI, feeling like a kid in a candy shop. Where are my people? I’d love to connect with others embracing tools like #Cursor and #Windsurf to build things they couldn’t do on their own until now.

My #T1D 9 y/o relies on services that federal funding provides our rural school district. These are not fluffy, feel-good services, they’re life-saving care and supplemental educational services. If you’re not calling for your kids then how about calling for mine? #DOE 5calls.org/issue/educat...

Putting some finishing touches on something I’ve been working toward for a bit. Using conversational AI instead of wall-of-text forms for intake so I can probe for context and clarity and get high-quality inputs instead of static forms. Loving the depth and insights of the inputs now! #buildinpublic

Last week's #CrewOfTheWeek was an idea validator. This week? A CrewAI Tool building crew. Takes a descriptive input and outputs a custom tool py file + detailed documentation for using it in my #CrewAI crews. So far it's built an Unsplash API tool, a Weather tool and a keyword tool. #buildinpublic

Challenging myself to dive deeper into learning #CrewAI with a personal Crew of the Week. This week: a crew that takes an idea, does a shload of research to spit out a 30-ish page viability report that considers my personal priorities and gives a go/no-go with supporting reasoning. 🤯 #buildinpublic

Any #CrewAI gurus out there? Having problems with a flow. One crew runs kickoff_for_each_async and I can’t for the life of me get the final task to output_file with a unique filename. Just get the literal {slug}.md then it overwrites that file every time it saves another piece of content until 💻 🔥

Reminder: before you spend a bunch of time and energy building a feature, #RTFM. Just build a massive (non-functioning) human input step into a #CrewAI flow just to accidentally find all I had to do was add “human_input: true” to the task. #buildinpublic #failinpublic #learninpublic

Blew through my #Windsurf Pro Premium SuperDuper Gold Exclusive (whatever they call that plan??) credits in like 3 days. Looks like I'll be using #Cascade Base for a little less than a month. Anyone have success with their unlimited base model? #CodeWithAI #BuildInPublic

Absolutely blown away by #Windsurf pretty much every time I use it. Started with an idea this morning and made ridiculous progress on it throughout the day today. Unless I'm jinxing myself by saying this, I should have something launch-worthy by the end of the weekend. 🤯 #buildinpublic #codewithai

Night two in the hospital for our BoyKid, who got a very aggressive infection around his insulin pod site that we just couldn’t get out ahead of. Looking much better, hoping to head home tomorrow. 🤞 #t1d

🚀 Just whipped up #commitinpublic: A simple npm tool that auto-shares selected git commits to Bluesky! Add #share to your commit message and it posts instantly. Perfect for: • #buildinpublic • Sharing progress with your audience • Documenting your journey 👉 npm install -g commit-in-public

Now... is it useful in any way? Probably not. But I just like the idea of using #commitinpublic as a way to stay accountable to working on my own projects every day. Feel free to use it, too, if you'd like. npm install -g commit-in-public 🤷‍♂️

Anyone else wish they could just build stuff then hand it over to someone else to run it? I love the ideating, designing and building part and coming up with all the high-level strategies, not so much the day-to-day. If I could just build > launch > sell > repeat, that'd be the dream. #buildinpublic

Let’s mix things up today - what’s the strangest job you ever had? Mine? Definitely the summer I spent going page-by-page, erasing pencil marks from standardized test booklets for VA Beach public schools while listening to oldies radio with “The Golden Girls”, my old-lady fellow erasing buddies.

Working on paykit.io for a bit today. Troubleshooting some login and onboarding flow issues with supabase and stripe since migrating to a local supabase instance (like a responsible, big boy, developer would). What's everyone else up to today? #buildinpublic #codewithai #windsurf

If you use ClickUp for project management, check out this CLI tool I built so I (and Windsurf's Cascade AI) can manage my ClickUp tasks right from the command line. > npm install @chrisgscott/task-cli Still very much a work in progress, but it's been helpful for me!

I forgot about the Product Hunt launch today 😭 ✨I’m launching the best indie app, software, SaaS Black Friday deal platform today! Over 300 deals please support otherwise I’m toast 👇

Sitting by the pool watching my Type 1 Diabetic 9 year olds blood sugar like a hawk, thinking of others in the same boat over the holidays. Any other #T1D parents here on Bluesky? I’d love to connect and support each other.

All the cool kids are doing it, so I made a starter pack, too. This one’s for the founders out there doing more with less. If you’re solo or a small team making big things, I’d love for you to leave a comment so I can add you! go.bsky.app/ChrSqgi

#Windsurf and I just built a way for me to interact with my #ClickUp lists from the command line and it's blowing my damn mind right now. Drop a comment if you'd like to test it out!

Oh, and it took maaaaaybe an hour. And when I say a way for "me" to interact with my ClickUp lists, I really mean a way for me to ask Windsurf to just do it for me because I'm lazy and it's far more detailed. We live in the damn future.

@joenandez.com Curious your take on this since your bio says you're an actual PM. One thing I've found interesting about using AI to write code is that it feels like what I imagine a PM gets to do - steer the ship and course correct when needed, while relying on AI to handle the details. True?

I mean, I'm sure it's really overly simplified your job, but I only have 300 characters. :) My SaaS businesses have only ever been me + a technical co-founder, so I don't know if the PM type work I've done is really the same as a "real" PM like yourself!

Never really got into Twitter/X and feel like I missed the boat on getting into the cool kids club of founders and creators over there. Already feeling much more "in" over here and it's been like 18 hours. Drop a note here if you saw this, I'd love to know what you're working on!

You are up to date.
