Apartheid Israel's genocidal crimes against Palestinians are documented, evidenced, relentless. All enabled by the so-called international community, including Ireland. We have legal obligations under international law to act to prevent egregious human rights abuses. #SanctionsNow

Barnaby Joyce is on ABC TV saying that the children’s cartoon character Bluey depicted in the One Nation political cartoons being run over by a car is an overreaction. ABC boss said earlier they are considering suing One Nation. Robert Irwin has also said he wants to sue. Sue them!

Bridget Mackenzie is now on ABC TV saying that the One Nation cartoons mocking Jackie Lambie’s health condition was wrong but couldn’t bring herself to say the car running over Dan Andrew’s or Albo was wrong. Bridget is a shocker.

The best part about Lula winning the Brazilian election is his deforestation policies. He has saved more of the Amazon than any other President in 100 years and has a plan to end deforestation by 2030. The other guy would have gone tge other way.

Trumps foreign interference is particularly bad.

18/ Millions marched in France today "The Anglo media seems to have lost all interest in covering the mass protests in France today because there was no rioting or looting, just boring legitimate demands from young people for decent education funding and an end to austerity." - @moshik_temkin

Over and over we hear the ultra conservative influencers blaming taxes or planning costs as being the problem with the costs of housing. Then they complain we can’t add density or change buildings. Ask them which planning areas need to go. The real reason is Bond Markets.

If You’re Listening is an excellent show:

There is now incitement of violence against a female political candidate following far right influencer Drew Pavlov’s comments wrongly characterising Hannah Fergusson’s interview with 2GB. It’s disgusting.

Oil prices just hit $110 a barrel despite the RBA forecasting $80. The RBA put up interest rates partly on this forecast and now there are predictions they will put up rates again in Nov. Why?

How do we fix the problem of populist politics when the people voting for it are mostly poorly educated, hate being made to feel like it or talked down to, distrust smarter people who they blame for making their lives harder? Particularly when they have a point too.

‘They speak too quickly’ was an argument I was given yesterday. Why don’t they get the left is on their side and it’s the people they are championing that are their enemy?

Renewables are the future. Scientists in Singapore have just announced they have made a battery that could be recharged 40,000 times and last 100yrs with only 7% function loss. The battery tech field is blowing minds and fossil fuel must be very scared.

Threats to politicians are disgusting but I suspect cracking down without other genuine change or understanding is going to lead to more threats. I fear the people who are hurting need change and action otherwise their fear, hurt, helplessness will result in actions.

We know the attacker was homeless for long periods and his mental health was being reported to police by neighbours repeatedly. Did the attackers frustration with homelessness lead to this misplaced violence? So many questions in following weeks and months. I hope Helen Haines survives this.

Zali Steggall unloads on Pauline Hanson’s disgraceful finger-pointing and politicisation following the attack on Helen Haines. says she has a long history of spreading hate in the country “sells & pushes hate & division non stop” “Helen is the complete opposite”💯 Yup.

The Wall St Journal is reporting that alongside next months APEC Summit a three way meeting between Putin, XI and Trump will be held to discuss carving up Ukraine. Trump is the lowest of all life forms of this goes ahead.

This shift away from Urban Bias is very positive. It’s time for governments & decision makers to help build regional infrastructure, services, business and investment. SBS News: A pandemic-era record has returned. The next chapter looks different www.sbs.com.au/news/article...

Meanwhile on the other site far right paid influencers have already named and blamed a person they think drove the car that hit Helen Haines. The rhetoric is wrongly blaming political leanings and connecting theories. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Elon Musk has spent $276 million on US Republican advertising since July. Seems like he really needs Trump to win the Mid Terms. It’s not working Elon. Republican Senators are unable to raise anywhere near Democrats. This is a big indicator.

All of the Trump Admin are suddenly saying ‘the polls are all wrong’. At a rally Trump said that Project 2025 lead Russ Voight has a surprise to be revealed in the next few weeks that will be remembered in history. Corruption outloud.

Just watched Tesla’s Roadster launch on YouTube. That was the most awkward, unprofessional, confusing, nerdy 20 minutes. Didn’t trust a word. The car and people are not solving any need or making any real improvements. Elon is a complete fuckwit.

Reuters have confirmed that the White House ordered the switching off of Starlink to aid Russia in the war against the Ukraine. Australia should stop all US assistance including military surveillance then send home any military or Ambassadors.
