I’ve always respected and placed a lot of weight on a person’s ability to learn from their mistakes. For example, trump used Neil Young’s “Rockin in the Free World” at a rally six years ago, got sued, and settled for millions. This week they used that song again, and Neil Young is suing them again.

@dieworkwear.bsky.social, I have a question for a tailor: What’s the name for the style of shirt / jacket that has a deep overlap and two columns of buttons, like Han Solo’s shirt or like some chef’s coats. I’ve seen “bib front” but the examples that come up when I search for that look different.

Cop stole a dead man’s identity and squatted in his home because he “wanted to prevent squatters”. That’s like robbing a bank to prevent bank robberies, or like stealing someone’s identity to protect them from fraud, or like becoming a cop to prevent crime. www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...

nbcnews.comFlorida officer found dead man, impersonated him for years and renovated his home, police sayBrian Louis Sguros responded to Dennis West’s Lauderhill home in 2022 for a welfare check. Sguros later claimed he spent at least $214,000 on the home, according to police documents.

He bulldozed the East Wing He painted the Eisenhower Bldg He shut down the Kennedy Center He painted the Reflecting Pool He bulldozed Las Playas Intaglio He is razing the East Potomac Park How many more things will he destroy while trying to put his name on them?

On Jan 6, the president blocked the deployment of the National Guard to allow his mob to overthrow Congress. He's learned from that. Now he has lined the military leadership with loyalists and fired anyone perceived as not completely subservient to him. How will the National Guard get used now?

My favorite subgenre of TDS is people who voted for stupid three times but now that gas prices are skyrocketing are adamant that they won’t vote for him a fourth time. The 22nd Amendment says what?

Here’s the Republican running for governor of California hiring a couple of celebrity impersonators to get attention. I love how the right simultaneously wants their voters to “wake up” but is also very adamantly against people being woke. As self-aware as a bowl of petunias.

Hear me out… What if he just does all the press conferences himself? He doesn’t need someone to talk for him. He talks better than everyone else. There’s cameras involved. He’ll get more time on TV, which is his favorite thing to watch. And for us, more time on TV means less time to break things

The regime wants you to hate communism, meanwhile the regime has forced an unprecedented number of companies into turning over equity to the government, something that has never happened outside of a crisis before. www.cato.org/restoring-fr...

Jeffrey Epstein’s best friend, who is named in those files more than any other coconspirator, appointed someone to be his “Ambassador At Large to Combat Trafficking”. We are in bizarro world.

Think of it, a modestly successful reality tv show host talked us into a War that he can’t win, that never had to start, that “trump” will never be able to settle. The U.S. lost billions in fraud and corruption, far more important than starting a new war. Also, he’s in the Epstein Files.

The "You're Fired"(tm) guy will fire anyone who doesn't properly kiss his ass. But when a girl who may have accidentally overheard some things while dating his son commits blatant fraud and grossly embarrasses his office, he asks her if she would be gracious enough to resign.

Remember how Weinstein went from being in good enough health to sexually abuse 20 year olds to needing a walker and oxygen in the amount of time it took to go from arrest to trial? Remember how Cosby had no problems getting around before he got arrested but the suddenly needed a wheelchair?

Who do we trust? A journalist who consistently produces insider insight on what's going on, or The guy with a history of lying who has previously said he would lie to trick an adversary into not thinking there was an attack coming?

BS. 10 years of “Lock Her Up” chants and “Biden Crime Family” lies and you didn’t manage to give any of them so much as a traffic ticket. You can take this “could have” BS and file it next to your two impeachments and 34 felonies.

Saying “if you vote republican, I’ll mail everyone a check for $5000 and send every senior $90/mo after the midterms” is against the law. He’s never going to send those checks. But it only takes the offer to make this a crime.

MAGA logic: socialism is the greatest evil ever, but please mail me a $5k DOGE check, $2k tariff rebate check, $2k tariff refund, $1776 warrior dividend check, $2k trump dividend, and now $100/mo until the midterms (none of those checks ever arrived, btw) They sure love free government handouts
