As much as I think this is entirely unnecessary and probably a bad idea, I am taking a certain perverse joy in trying to figure out how you would even attempt to fill Duvall and Jones' tremendous boots. Maybe Ethan Hawke for Gus and Michael Shannon for Call? deadline.com/2026/09/lone...

Followup: They used a good little chunk of my interview in the "A Storm of Carnage: Creating The Furious" doc, if you explore the special features after watching the feature.
Get em while they're hot! lionsgatelimited.com/collections/... I sat down for a long filmed interview on the cutting of the film, so I'm as curious as anyone to check out the bonus features to see what they included. Also featuring an essay by the fantastic @priscillapage.bsky.social
LA, come see one of the great seduction scenes in all of cinema, on the big screen. Cut by one of the best to ever do it; the lady who gave us the Lawrence of Arabia Match Cut; Anne V. Coates. Rarely have two actors smouldered like Clooney and J.Lo do here. www.academymuseum.org/programs/det...
I’ve listened to this man’s voice for so many hours over the last 2 decades. Tremendous loss. youtu.be/c33toXKeH70

As an adult, I understand this movie is Not Good, but I will always know Bonnie Tyler first for providing the epic soundtrack to the most badass movie scene my 6 year old brain had ever seen. youtu.be/Rfjv66w9u7c?...
I recently spoke with Steve Hullfish on Art of the Cut about my work on The Furious. Looks like the podcast and writeup is now live borisfx.com/blog/aotc/ar...
I bought a t-shirt with Melon Kuma on it when I was in Hokkaido several years ago and it's started more than a few conversations, as people that recognize him are delighted.
Melon Kuma, a terrifying hybrid of a melon and a bear, is a character from Yubari City in Hokkaido, and was inspired by wild brown bears destroying melon patches in the area. He visited the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building today.
If you, like me, find yourself missing Sleep No More NYC, this is a hell of a work of programming. Seems to be a digital dollhouse, where to you can watch the character's path's throughout the show. backto.manderley.ink
Started S5 of For All Mankind last night, and so glad to be back in that world. The slow boil of each season progressively becoming more sci-fi has brought us to a proto-The Expanse world by the 2010s. Really excellent storytelling, scratching that DS9-era Trek itch that modern Trek has left behind.
@iamlazarusjones.bsky.social and I went to House of Kong last night, and it was so cool. Even I, a casual Gorillaz enjoyer, thought it was brilliant. Definitely some traces of Punchdrunk flavors in there, that made me miss Burnt City and Sleep No More all over again.
@evanschiff.com building Frankenstein piece by piece Really cool walk-through of all his timelines. youtu.be/5Sp3IZddVv8?...

Technicolor/The Mill's creditors are auctioning off literally everything from their Culver offices, and really hoping this original Technicolor 35mm 3 Strip camera finds a good home. cagp.com/lot-details/...

Anyone played with Resolve's Speed Editor peripheral? I'm gonna buy a Studio license before the end of the year, and I'm wondering if it's worth the extra $75 for the speed editor as well, or if it's another piece of gear that will sit in my closet, until I inevitably give it away a decade from now.
