i knew shaggy had to be stu, and i knew he and scoob had to be a duo. but i didn't wanna make scooby billy for multiple reasons lol. so i imagine that shaggy acts as stu, while also filling billy's role in the plot (he dates velma etc) while scooby is just scooby lol

mine is meant to depict the actual moment from the story but i really love the original. the early morning light shining into the room while he stares at you with that unreadable expression creates an incredibly eerie stillness

in my dream, a small fox begged him "no brother please", and their eyes were hollowed out as if by his punishment for having hidden from him. i felt their helplessness when he appeared. he's unknowable, doing what he does as an unfeeling agent of some cruel law. an insidious evil

his dead-eyed stare is pointed just near you. as you try to wake, he traps you in between in a state of utter terror. last night i was hoping i wouldn't make myself have nightmares again, and i took note of that small anxious feeling. "he is the thought you're trying to ignore".

i really like the idea of using this kind of classic fable illustration style for horror
