ive talked on how i wont engage with writers who use ai, i wont eat at a restaurant with an ai menu, i wont have anything to do with it. but what this post illustrates is regardless of how OTHERS react, ultimately the worst part about using ai is that you are punishing YOURSELF and dont even know it

cool, cool

i know the trot of my tone here seems slightly flippant because thats just the nature of posting, but this makes me deeply, deeply sad. like physically ill. i cannot believe there are people out there doing this. i cannot imagination seeing reflection on your own child as a task to streamline

Pounded In The Butt By My Hugo Award Loss is the story of grief so many writers have been afraid to tell. Brave.

sometimes its difficult thinking up tinglers. asking myself how can i tap into something deeply HUMAN here? but other times BANG it hits you like a lightening bolt. you see god and you are like 'of course, BISEXUALLY POUNDED BY THE BITTERSWEETNESS OF NOSTALGIA AND THE UNCEASING PASSAGE OF TIME'

there is just so much beauty in these cracks between what folks find appropriate, or absurd, or profound. and it is untouched because... nobody will take you seriously if you wrestle that strange thing and turn it into art? who cares? that is the PRIMAL force that everything is birthed from.

it is art that moves the BODY, through laugher, through fear or unease, their arousal. and because the powers that be have trained these things out of us over centuries, its a third rail everyone feels they must avoid. buddy that rail is made of gold. it is the infinite: not an empty void, but LOVE

How about _Lucky Day_ by @chucktingle.bsky.social? Slapstick global existential catastrophe, fast-paced reality-bending narrative, and a fantastic emotional payoff about hope (not to mention a celebration of queer identity).

YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING is one of the most astonishing movies i have ever seen. just checked and no documentaries have ever been nominated for best picture but it absolutely should be. maybe even win. what a trot

i just sent over a blurb its too late to put on the book but i will add it here: It Looks Like You In The Dark is a thrilling expression of both anger and beauty wrapped up in an engrossing horror tale. Mathilda Zeller taps into something timeless. A bold and terrifying debut.

what incredible beauty there is in just existing for a moment. to sit and breathe and have a pumping heart. to let any goals or expectations fall away. to think 'wow i am here.' life is an unfathomable blessing but in quiet moments of acknowledgment i think we can at least REACH for understanding
