okay its my fault for not giving advance 3 a fair shake every other time ive tried it, its actually pretty fun

if anyone ever wonders why im very lukewarm about my negative opinions on unimportant things (ie video games), just remember that ive been a sonic fan for my entire life it doesnt happen much anymore, but there was a point in time where the franchise was considered shit and it suuuucked

ive been (mostly) playing these games while trying to preserve how they were intended to be played. there are few exceptions, like save states and the rereleases of the ogs that remove the 10 minute time limit... so with that said, shadow the hedgehog,

outside of heroes ive been really, really trying to finish every game i start get the true ending too if it doesnt take eat up too much of my time i guess i will need to see how much time a single run takes and go from there

this is body horror. to me (positive) (i think its neat)

i think more horror media should utilize robots as a subject. the fact that this model was completely repurposed into being a giant, immobile weapon and had no choice in the matter is a really freaky concept

i havent gotten through every game yet, but i figure id put up my little tier list so far modern games are there bc ive played them recently/often enough that i know my opinions on them. otherwise outside of heroes ive only played classics in the marathon

also i need to really stress that this is my opinion! im literally judging games based off of whether or not im having fun playing them and not on anything else! i dont judge people for having different thoughts and feelings than my own :)

been having a sonic marathon of sorts with my partner (started in order, began skipping around a tad) and finally played sonic heroes for the first time i can understand why people arent a fan of that one

its also worth noting that ive only played through team rose's story (potentially so far, potentially only), but i am aware of how the others play out/work maybe i wont be as frustrated with faster characters?
