Just finished an Insecure rewatch and honestly, might be one of the best shows I've watched (and I watch a lot of shows). The writing! The hilarious puns! The friendships! The fashion! The search for love! The love for community! I'm bummed I finished it again already.

What's going on with people running hard red lights? Not, oops, I thought I could make the yellow light ones. The person in front of me stopped at the red light, sat there, and then blew through said red light (taking a left turn)...has happened more than once. Are red lights just stop signs now? 🫤

Well, this one made me cry today...yesterday it was the mariachi band playing the national anthem. I just love to see every culture celebrated! How hard is that concept? This is very cool and what an amazing mayor!

Finally thought my heart could take it so I watched Hamnet. Thought I could game the system and not cry (since I read the book), but wow, could not have been more wrong. What a beautiful movie! Jessie Buckley deserved all these awards she received.

I am trying to find a new invoicing software for my freelance business and none of these places have phone numbers listed...just email addresses. Am I just old? I know nobody wants to talk on the phone anymore (not a fan myself) but it would really be easier to ask questions to an actual person!

Finished Ride or Die today and loved it. The best show I've seen in a while. Octavia Spencer was a joy, wow. I hope she wins an Emmy for her performance. Hope she does more funny stuff too, she was cracking me up!

Went to the No Kings protest in Cary, NC today and had some great conversation with an older lady next to me. Found out later she’s a nun! Was raised evangelical so this was the first nun I’ve ever met. Pretty cool!
