I may be tired and a little hoarse, but as I said again and again on the Senate floor, this is a moment where we cannot afford to be silent, when we must speak up.

🚨NEW: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is planning to fire Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff C.Q. Brown, a 4-Star General and 41-year veteran of the Air Force who flew over 130 hours in combat as a fighter pilot. REPOST if you stand with General C.Q. Brown against Hegseth!

Know how to stump a modern conservative? Ask them what Jesus would do.

The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific. If you know anyone who is impacted, please help them get online to get their benefits approved

Elon Musk called Social Security “the biggest Ponzi scheme of all time.” Now, he wants to fire workers who make sure your grandma gets her monthly check. I've got a message for Elon: get your hands off our Social Security.

Don’t assume just because millions of people who voted for Trump are finding out they are being personally negatively affected by this presidency that they will turn around and vote for Democrats in 26 or 28. We are going to have to win them over to our side and finger wagging won’t do it.

I feel more like I'm at a table with my grandparents. A Republican server dropping pasta in my lap and my grandparents telling me to apologize and offer to mop the floors.

Being a democrat feels like your server intentionally dumping your spaghetti in your lap while the manager tells you how valued you are.

Aren't there supposed to be 3 miracles first? I suppose getting the military and vets to consider that Republicans don't actually give a fuck about them could be one.

I don’t know where this originated, but my husband just sent it to me.

CALLS ARE WORKING - it has bought us precious time, but we NEED to keep the pressure up. Tomorrow is the cloture vote. KEEP CALLING: (202) 224-3121 ☎️☎️☎️ Tell your Dem Senator to vote NO on Cloture and NO on the Republican spending bill. Do NOT assume your Senator will be good on this. Trust me.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez@aoc.bsky.social

🚨 Everyone needs to call their Dem Senator right now. They are starting to cave. Tell them: 1. Vote NO on Cloture AND 2. Vote NO on the Republican spending bill. Don’t let them pivot to reconciliation. GOP doesn’t need Dem votes on that and they know it. TODAY is the showdown. 🤳🏽: (202) 224-3121

I don't want to hear how Die Hard isn't a Christmas movie. It's number 5 on Prime Videos's top ten streaming, right next to the other holiday movies.

Yes, MAGA is leading the country down a path of self destruction, income inequality, fascism, and is in bed with the enemy. But can we focus.on what really matters for a second?

I want everyone in the media to start addressing the dynamic duo as President Musk and VP Trump, wait for the Don to eventually get angry that he looks weak and subservient, and then watch the fallout

Keep spreading

Good morning and Happy Sunday to everyone who knows that Democrats always grow the economy, and Republicans always fuck it up while only focusing on making the rich richer. We have to break this idiotic cycle.

The fact that prestigious US institutions have to issue that advisory embarrasses me

A number of colleges, including Harvard, USC and Cornell, are advising their international students to return to campus before President-elect Donald Trump is inaugurated on Jan. 20. nyti.ms/41qkzft
