Asked a VP of Engineering how they're handling AI adoption Their response: "We're paying our best engineers 2x to build AI tooling instead of hiring as many new grads as we used to" Don't believe me? Even giants like Microsoft and Netflix are taking this approach 👇

The system of record (ERP, CRM) is no longer important software and will become an archaic layer Agent solutions will be the new layer of interaction with employees Salesforce ➡️ Agentforce Microsoft ➡️ Copilot Studio SAP ➡️ Joule

Microsoft's enterprise deals are now bigger than AWS in some sectors Why? Because Microsoft bundles Office + Azure + Enterprise agreements into one renewal contract that's impossible for CIOs to ignore Cloud deals are becoming one pillar of an overall company partnership

How one line of code can be the difference between $500k and $1m of cloud spend Erik Peterson, Founder and CTO of CloudZero, came on FinOps Weekly to host a webinar and discussion called “Million Dollar Lines of Code” Some of the key takeaways:

✅ Every Engineering decision is a buying decision ✅ Jevons Paradox is the driver of innovation today with AI-enabled tools ✅ The ROI on Cloud makes economic sense if you use cost as a source for innovation for how you build and construct systems

✅ The Frugal Architect by Werner Vogels (a must-read) contains some of the fundamental principles of building in the Cloud ✅ Code when unobserved can be super expensive or super cheap, but you don’t know

Am I the only one that thinks Ask Grok and Ask Perplexity bots don't provide much more value than just searching it yourself? They frequently miss the context behind an image or post and it just feels like a waste of resources

Theory: once you pass a certain threshold of metrics (>250 followers, post consistency, etc.) X finally starts to promote your content into the For You page Last week was the first time a post pushed past 500 views without any retweets/quote tweets

There's a reason you can tell so many people are using AI-generated tools to write on X/LinkedIn AI has no natural voice. Even if you train it on your own content. It'll write about topics you write about, but it's very obviously not you. Don't give in and fall to it

The biggest life changing moment for me was switching from finance to tech. I never considered myself a technical person by background, but I became a nerd for it. I learn for the love of the game. Something that can't be forced. And it's definitely not for everyone

HR is the biggest joke Applied for some roles internally, resume hadn't been reviewed in 3-4 weeks Look to message hiring manager, but only an HR contact is listed since it's a general application Is OOF for the next few days She comes back

I message her, status is red on teams all day as "busy" but in no meetings No reply Message her again day or two later, same status as busy No reply Message her a 3rd time with a direct question Answers in <5 minutes Are you kidding me Get rid of them all
