the volume of AI produced graphics everywhere on the internet is depressing me again.

been taking care of a toddler unassisted for a week, my period is like a week late, I am now sick & I have fallen off my running routine. I think I am experiencing ego death.

I’m in Florida for a few more days and it’s been horribly rainy and it’s August which means I have 30+ mosquito bites on my body and running is miserable (bc of the mosquitos)

I am in Albany for like 36 hours on a trip that is primarily leisure & I didn’t bring allergy medication cause I’ve been fine lately in NYC but am discovering that I played myself.

A few weeks ago I was with some work colleagues who had never taken the metro north on the Hudson line and I was like “sit on this side (obviously the river side), facing the direction of the train and romanticize your life” and this is evergreen train advice.

NY city first for me: called 911 about a suspected gas leak. (Everyone is fine! Downstairs neighbor left their gas on! Shout out FDNY who was here in under 5 minutes)

want to join one of the gay run clubs now that I am clearing 4 miles comfortably but their pacing starts at 11 minute miles and I am not there yet :(

googled “full body pulsating heat?” and google was like “please go inside.”

it’s two am, I just left the club, I’m thinking about tomorrow’s run.

after spending weeks running in a very flat place, it’s fun to come back home and be like “why is it so hard to run here” and between the pollen and the sunset park hills, I’ve got my answer.

had to get on a last minute flight because my mom is having emergency surgery and honestly, all day people have been looking out for me & i am so grateful for the kindness of strangers.
