In comparison, it's clear that the rest of the GOP has fallen far from its past support for free trade. A stunning 33 Republican Senators received A+, A, or B grades for their “Pre-Trump Trade Record”, but received overall F grades on the index due to their embrace of Trump’s protectionist agenda.

We've said it time and time again, and we're going to continue saying it: Tariffs are a Tax on American families. They devastate small businesses across the country, and they alienate our allies. And they fail at their stated purpose of bringing back manufacturing.

We are thrilled to welcome Poppy Northcutt (@poppynorthcutt.bsky.social) — the first woman to work in NASA's Mission Control on the Apollo Program as a return-to-Earth specialist — to this year's New Liberal Action Summit to speak on our space policy panel.

After her career as an engineer with NASA, Poppy became an attorney and turned her focus to the fight for women's rights. She's served on the national board of directors of the National Organization for Women, and worked with the Texas and Houston chapters of NOW.
