This is an episode of ‘Confronting Christian Nationalism,’ a podcast miniseries by and for Christians that did a deep dive in to the schism that is most profoundly felt among US Christians, but is being exported around the world.

I hear books like Jesus and John Wayne cover this. Christian Nationalist organizations are also popping up in Canada. This is something we should be sure to keep an eye on, least it takes us by surprise.

The short answer is everything is ‘evidence’ God is all-powerful. A good Christian? Praise God! A fallen person who is only becoming a Christian now? Glory to God. A person who lives a life of sin? God is so powerful that he can use such a person as a tool.

Like the biblical stories of King Cyrus or Queen Esther “for such a time as this”. Trying to shame them for following Trump as he does the things they want him to do doesn’t work, because that’s not how God works in their view.

If you want to understand this every growing idea, and how people can believe that non-Christians and people who live awful lives that are inconsistent with Christian teaching can be seen and moving the US (in particular) in a Christian direction, listen to this podcast episode.
