Another hour listening to the same 16 bar loop. Tweaking knobs, fading things in and out, sometimes just sitting there convinced of the sad beauty of it all. No recording, no extra programming, no progress beyond the surety that this should exist — needs to exist. But not tonight.

A few pounds more in my PayPal account and I'd have made an impulse purchase of a 505 last night. Maybe for the best. 😆
