Arctic extent on JAXA went from 10th lowest....to 4th lowest.....down to 2nd lowest on record, one or two more days of 150,000km@ declines will put 2026 back down to the lowest year on record!

Dropping in to report that Arctic extent on JAXA is hovering precipitously around the 2nd lowest on record mark, poised to get back down to record low with plenty of time before summer melt officially starts !!

Update: For anyone that knows me (or does not) I'm still around! Just slowly but surely dealing with life stuff which pales in comparison to the great ongoing END. Also , Arctic volume is STILL record low & extent has fluctuated between lowest and 3rd lowest on the JAXA record!
