Since I plan on making Bluesky my new home, guess I should introduce myself. I’m a VMWare based Engineer, specializing in Automation. I’m a dad, nerd, gymrat and really really into MtG Commander. I really enjoy discussing tech, including infrastructure and virtualization. My favorite book is Dune.

Long week. Production change schedule changed, even when the systems are just collectors with read only. Night time work is rough

Finished some modules today. Wrote some automation for my Citrix team. Main reason was to enable Virtualization based security and nesting on new Citrix boxes. Really head scratching due to the older modules being 5 years old. #powershell #vmware

I’ve been using OpenSSL a lot lately. Throughout using it, I’ve been impressed with its ability to manage certs. #openssl #tech

Stuck in STL on a business trip. Lots of iDRAC work to get done this week. #dell

When people bash on the south but we have some awesome hiking spots. #southcarolina

Went through the loss of my grandmother this week. After 86 years, it’s easy to celebrate such a long life. Our family has always been a bit more understanding of death but it was still a rough week.

Kiddo and I about to rule world. Stay tuned.

Little shit decided to eat bleach and is now barfing blood. Vet fixed it and now we just gotta recover. What a day and what a bill. #cats

Got Aria up and running at work. Moving out of vROPs but it really is mostly the same. The UI is super nice and I like the K8 integration. #vmware #broadcom #k8

I’m getting really really tired of OpenShift lately. #RHEL

Reading Dune Messiah with this goober.

I’ve been on a massive reading kick, so I bought a kindle to attempt to cut down on my paper use. I despise Amazon but going back to its book roots feels somewhat of a lesser evil.

Holidays have been busy. Not so much at work due to downtime and PTO but we get to see our family in Tennessee as well. Not looking forward to a 6 hour drive but I got myself a new kindle to help ><

They are live now! Go say hi! Maybe win a deck!

My girl loves to hike. TAKE YOUR CATS OUTSIDE #Cats

Holy shit, Secret Level fucking slaps. The 40k one gave me a warhammer boner. #SecretLevel #Amazon

Long week. Retrofitting old DSC modules all week with a secure credential exchanges to get rid of clear text transfers. Kill me. #Powershell #Automation

My pod still hasn’t found a way to deal with my Helga deck apparently. I’m quite proud of my Froggy

Grinch went ham today

I’ve been playing a lot of arena lately as it’s been hard to get out of the house to catch a pod. I’ve been enjoying it. It makes running +1/+1 cards a lot easier when you don’t feel like mathing. #MTG #Arena

Nothing crazy happened at work today. I was able to get my new laptop ready to roll. New 5490 Intel Core Ultra 9 185H. Not a huge fan of the built in copilot key though. #IT #Dell

Need a bug ID. Helpppp. #insect #bug

Who loves Openshift outages during blackout periods!?? TOTALLY ME #rhel

Commander Night Results: 2 and 2. Elenda and Azor did extremely well this time, getting me 20 10/10's for fatal on everyone and my Krenko deck did....well, Goblin things. Ran the the new Zimone and it just got so mind numbing after a while. #MTG #EDH

My 5yo daughter has become addicted to Zelda BOTW. Help #Zelda

Artillerist. I love having a Eldritch Cannon! Boom!

Trying something new! The Magic community is big & growing & doing full lists proves difficult. This gives us more flexibility and have more fun! This week's #FridayFollows are fifteen of Magic's artists and ADs! Future packs will have different themes or groupings! go.bsky.app/Djmamca

Sue loves to go for hikes. It’s hard to capture how orange she is without this sun.

I have been froggin loving Bluesky’s Saved Feed feature, allowing us to customize our feed. Comes in use when I need a brain reset. #Bluesky #iOS

For those at Microsoft Ignite this year: how was this convention when compared to Dell Tech World in Vegas? #Microsoft #Dell

MS Ignite Day 2! Let’s roll #Microsoft

Wow, that's cool! #RHEL is coming to #Windows Subsystem for #Linux! #MSIgnite www.redhat.com/en/blog/brin...

Big boost coming to the Azure Environments. Copilot is a bit too much but I’m excited to see the integration into Excel

What are your top 3 decks that you consider your “forever” decks? These 3 are my babies. #mtg

It’s patching season at work! Hooray. Glad I’m the coordinator this time, so I don’t have to watch paint dry

Started watching Blue Lock with my kiddo. This anime sucks ass. There I said it. #anime
